  I can't say enough great things about this company. I was using another lender who started off great, but then would become uncommunicative. They were dragging their feet so much for 30 days(!!), that 2 weeks before closing I was in a panic and searched for other lenders. Locklear had great reviews so I called them first. I told them my issue, and that I needed to close in 2 weeks or I'd lose the house. Amanda was so incredible, she was on top of everything and made sure everything was submitted in time, answered every question I had, she was on top of getting the appraisal done quickly which isn't easy in this current market, etc. Amanda was just great every step of the way! Even the interest rate they got for me was MUCH better than the original lender! Kelly took over during the final process and she was also awesome. The loan got closed in 2 weeks! They were so helpful and sweet every step of the way. I am 100% going to refer everyone I know to use the Locklear Lending Team!!!

  Locklear Lending Team deserves more stars. 5 is simply not enough. Garrett was the 3rd lender we had spoken to and the comparison wasn’t even close. Garrett and team are all extremely prompt and polite. Very proactive bunch that was able to have everything in line for a short closing window. Garrett even called us last minute to confirm a lower fixed rate. Never stopped working to ensure we were in best position to move forward. Everyone we talked to is so personable. We genuinely enjoyed our experience with these folks. No headaches. No uncertainties. No part of their process needs improvement.   Working was Garrett, Jonathan and Kelly was great! Couldn’t have asked for a better team to help us buy our first house. They answered all our questions, walked us through the process, and were very knowledgeable. They also had our best interests in mind when it came to the fluctuating interest rates and made sure we got the best rate.   I used Locklear lending for my original home loan as well as my refinance after mortgage rates recently dropped. They were very patient with me and answered all my questions. Given turbulent economic times, they did an excellent job communicating the progress of my refinance and reassuring me that everything was moving along.   These folks care. They take the time to answer all of your questions (regardless how silly) and they truly work with and for you to ensure the best possible outcome during the entirety of the home buying experience. Jonathan, Kelly and the rest of the team made my wife and I feel so confident and comfortable with the whole process.   Honestly can’t say enough good things about the Locklear Lending Team. From our first meeting with Garrett, to my many many phone calls with Jonathan (me calling him, don’t worry, he’s the freaking greatest), to wrapping up all of the complicated pieces with Kelly, I couldn’t have asked for a better lending team to help us through the process of buying our first house. As a clueless and young first-time home buyer, my questions were seemingly endless and confusion came around often. I really can’t even imagine what psych ward I would be admitted to right now if I hadn’t worked with the patient, professional, knowledgeable and oh so friendly people of the Locklear Lending Team.
