  We've stayed at three of their houses and all were terrific. Well equipped, very clean, and very cute. Comfy beds were all we could ask for. Kitchens well stocked. The views were incredible, love the fireplaces in each house because who doesn't love to gather around a wood fire at the beach no matter what time of year it is? Highlights included gathering around large dining tables overlooking ocean views. Quick walk into town on the beach or quiet road. Appreciate the access to grocery stores and restaurants in Manzanita. Great area hiking and fishing. Morning runs on the beach were heavenly. Only thing missing was a hot tub. My fingers are crossed that one will appear for our next trip.

  Hi all. Back again with new info. My family LOVES visiting “our beach house” in the summer. This beach house continues to wow family abd friends, although our friends stayed home this year due to Covid stuff. The house was clean as a whistle and all the protections were appreciated. Thanks cleaning crew and everyone! Our Manzanita rental house was the oceanside modern cabin. It was a very good house for our vacation. The short walk to the main street of Manzanita was appreciated and the beach was only about 100 feet from our door. The house was nicely furnished and had everything we needed. We liked the separate family room for the kids to hand out on their own. And the adults got the living room with the wonderful view! The beds were comfortable and there were lots of towels. The owners were good to work with.

  We're happy you enjoyed your stay. We also love staying at our Oceanside Modern cabin Manzanita rental as we park the car and never have to drive for the whole vacation! Whether strolling to the Farmer's Market, grabbing a bite to eat or taking a long walk on the beach, we find this house convent to all Manzanita OR has to offer. And we also enjoy having the separate family room so our kids have a place to getaway!

  This was our first time staying at this house. We chose it because it was smaller than other homes we usually rent but it was all we needed to celebrate our anniversary. It was surprisingly large and open in the living area. It’s beautifully remodeled and very comfortable. It has an excellent view of the ocean from the living room and patio area. The bed was very comfortable and it was sqeeky clean! We walked across the street to the beach. This end of the beach is very private and quiet. It’s about one mile to town. So about a 20 minute walk or 2 minute drive. We enjoyed walking to Bread & Ocean for a delicious breakfast and baked goods. Great town to visit to relax and refresh and a very comfortable place to stay. We will definitely be back!

And you'll be happy to know the house is slightly less than 1/2 mile to the main street of Manzanita, Laneda Ave. Regardless of which house you stay at, we're glad you've thought of us as your go to beach Manzanita rentals for all of these years.   Kim was great to work with during the entire process of finding dates, picking one of her gorgeous homes, and enjoying our fantastic vacation! I had never been to Manzanita Beach and thoroughly enjoyed the home, the beach, and all the spots Kim advised us to check out for dinners and drinks. We will be back this summer for another relaxing vacation and will be reaching out to rent a different one of her beautiful homes.

  Perfect beach house for our family vacation. We had three generations enjoying the lovely and relaxing Manzanita life. The beach is your companion even if you don't leave the house with the beautiful view. The kitchen was a chef's dream and we enjoyed making every meal. The lower level was perfect for our teens and tweens to have their own space and play pool and ping pong. Such great memories. Thank you!

In remodeling this Manzanita Beach treasure we really worked to keep the original feel of the house and honor the history, yet creating a space that today's vacationers would enjoy. In doing this, we leaned on our experience with our family reunions with Eric's family. He's one of five, so add all the families, grand parents and grand kids, and you have a lot of groups that need both communal space, and places to get away from the crowd. We're thrilled it worked for you! We hope to see you again for another Manzanita beach getaway, either at our Historic Reed House or one of our other oceanfront Manzanita rentals.

  The house was as advertised. It comfortably slept our party of 8, with the adults in queens and the kids in bunk beds. The kitchen was well stocked, the house arranged nicely, beds comfortable, views wonderful, and owners responsive. It was an easy walk to the Manzanita shops. Both the owners and the town of Manzanita have taken the Covid restrictions seriously and we all appreciated that as well. I couldn’t think of a better find for our group.

  The house was perfect. We could not have asked for a better location...the beach is seriously only steps away and Canon beach is just a short drive up the road. The kitchen was fully stocked and the beds were incredibly comfortable. And the host Kim, was kind and gracious. We will definitely be back!

  Gorgeously renovated house. We came with a group of 18. There was more than enough room for us all. A rec room downstairs with tv area and separate pool table area. The living room has four different seating areas (or was that five?). It was great for people to spread out into smaller groups if they wanted and the dining room table could even fit all of us all. The house has an amazing view from the living room and the deck (and many of the bedrooms) and is located right across from the beach with no houses blocking the view. The kitchen was very well equipped for large groups. I don't think I came up with anything in the kitchen that I needed that it didn't have. It even has two dish washers! Beds were very comfortable, and just like the rest of the house, very nicely put together. Topping that off, the house is just a short walk from downtown Manzanita, with cute shops and great restaurants. I prefer Manzanita to Cannon Beach. Cannon Beach has gotten way too busy and big. Owners were a pleasure to work with. Thank you!!!!!

We're proud of our large kitchen that does well with really big groups, as well as all the areas within the house so that no-one feels overcrowded when visiting with a large group of vacationers. You'll have to return to visit one of our other oceanfront Manzanita rentals - they have incredible views, too!

  We stayed at this lovely house in Manzanita for three nights over spring break and loved every minute. The view was marvelous, and the place was charming, conveniently located, and immaculately clean. We had everything we needed, from stunning views to a kitchen with everything we needed and very comfortable beds. We spent hours watching the high surf, and it was a very easy stroll to Manzanita Beach's restaurants and shops. The owners were very helpful and responsive. We will definitely be coming back!

  This was our second stay here. Can't say enough about this house right on the beach. The sun was shining during the whole week so the location was even more excellent as the views were the best. The outdoor spaces were much appreciated. Loved dining on the deck and spending the evenings by the fire overlooking the ocean. Our conversations with the owner were professional and promptly answered. Really appreciated that when planning our vacation. I had also tried several of the different agencies and houses in town, but the replies were late and half baked at best (trying to use good language here). Everything was clear and complete, direction and expectation-wise. As we aren't from the area we had a lot of questions and the owner was very helpful. Instructions were online. I could have used an email instruction addition as opposed to mainly online but wasn't a problem. House was extremely clean and ready early which we really appreciated. Especially after a flight with kids. We were ready for our vacation. Beds were new and comfortable. Everything promised was provided and bedding and towels were all on the new side which we appreciated. Most of the house and landscaping looked newly remodeled. Views were incredible as promised. The house and beach front views were even better than in the photos. My family was very very happy with my choice which I also appreciated. Beach was not as crowded as one would expect in July. The walk to town was a short stroll which we enjoyed starting our day with. The coffee shop was right off the beach. Many very good restaurants and places to eat. Kids liked the local park with tennis court and renting bikes. Kids loved Left Coast, the local taco place. The state park at the south end was a hit for that. We also enjoyed crabbing at Kellys just south of town. Excellent place for a summer vacation at the beach. Will recommend to our friends. The owner also has a really big beach front house so I will try to plan a multifamily vacation next year.
