  Zero stars! A friend of mine recommended this bank for an auto refinance. So I gave it a try. This was the worst mistake ever! Painful long process for an auto loan, it doesn't matter if you send all the documents, underwriting obviously doesn't know what they are doing. This was more tedious than a home mortgage loan! So ridiculous. Do not start an auto loan refinance application here! You will regret it.

  I have been with texell for going on 5 years I believe . Even got my first vehicle refinanced through texell . Fast forward to Jan 5 2021 I was approved for my second auto refinance with a David Perez . I was about to docu sign my papers . And I was going over them and I see that David was adding gap and somthing else to my loan with out even asking me if I want it . I called him out on it and he first said I couldn't get approved with out it . Then it changed to you can still get approved but at a higher interest rate . Talk about sneaky I'm deciding today if I want to even continue with the refinance or if I need to close my accounts , with that kind of did honesty with employees that's hard to trust the bank it self

  Texell was very helpful and informative in our process of obtaining an auto loan. Super friendly staff who are honest and want to give their customers the best options.

  Had an auto loan with them. Without proper communication, they imposed mandatory insurance on my vehicle. Even after I had proven I had no lapse in my insurance, (as did my insurer) since they already paid it, "somebody is going to have to pay for it" I was told. TERRIBLE!

  Monica Johnson is one terrific Branch Manager in Georgetown. She is attentive to each problem we have and finds an acceptable solution.

  No loyalty to a Texell member they never want to help me out at all. Time to start looking for a new bank to bank with.

  No loyalty. I have been with Texell since I moved to Texas and am very disappointed with how they treat me like a transaction instead of a loyal customer.

  I have been using Texell for year and I love them. I now live 2 hours away and refuse to bank anywhere else.

  DO NOT bank with Texell. You will regret it. WORST bank ever. I'm just glad I didn't close my other accts.
