Texas Trust Credit Union Reviews

Tiffanie Cutrer5This was my first time visiting this new location. This is a relocation of their downtown location and it is very nice inside! Clean and bright. The ladies were very helpful and nice ( they always are!) Comfortable little waiting area. Big parking lot to the side of the building. There are a few spaces close to the building also. I have banked with Texas Trust for about 30 years, it has changed names a few times, but I have always had good experiences. I enjoy banking here and I definitely recommend this credit union.

Patricia Tafoya5Been with Qualtrust now Texas Trust since 2005 it's been great. We have had a loan for our RV, a Home loan, and personal loans. They have been nothing but helpful to us. Treat them how you would like to be treated and you will get that same respect.

Christina Spencer5I had a very positive experience opening account for my daughter. The person who helped me was friendly and informative. I also like that their lobby is open on Saturdays and not just the drive thru. No complaints, thinking about switching, myself.

Hannah Dumas1I miss when it was QualTrust, before the merge with Texas Trust. The merge never should have happened based on my recent experience. I have called customer service 3 times in the span of a week to check on the status of my tax return being deposited. I've been told that I would get a call back from another department, but have yet to receive any call backs. I left a voicemail for that department today, but I doubt I'll get a call. It's a good thing that I went to another bank since it seems that Texas Trust likes to withhold funds from customers for as long as they deem it necessary.

Walter Little2It's . . . . OK. We had banked there for years and after my disability which led to our bankruptcy, we tried to re-establish credit using their secured credit card and was told after 6-12 months we could apply for a regular card. We did and was Declined due to . . . . bankruptcy on file. Wasted all that time. Also applied for mortgage loan and took over a week for loan officer to return my call - which was too late by that time. So we closed the account out - no sense keeping it.
Response from the ownerWe are sorry that we weren't able to assist you with your goals, Walter. We welcome the chance to meet with you again and talk about some possible options. We hope we get the chance to turn around your experience with us.

M Renfro2Applied for an auto loan some time ago, well it was declined due to some fraud issues on my credit, completely understandable. But I put on the app for them to respond to me by email etc. Instead they decided to not respond at all. Then when I email there VP Brett how unprofessional that was he says "thanks" nothing else, kind of like he doesn't care. I haven't pulled out of the credit union yet but I need to asap. The reason for the 2nd star is the service at the loop 306 branch is always kind, but this branch on main street is a joke
Response from the ownerSorry to see that you did not get a 5-star experience with us, Mitch. We hope that if you ever have the need for auto loans again, that you will give us a chance to provide you with better service. Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback as well. We will use this as a learning opportunity.

Michelle Darragh2The service on the loop is great. As far as Bret and the rest of them they are rude and unprofessional. Hopefully now that Texas trust took over it will improve.
