  Whe it comes to buying merchandise especially firearms Ted's is the best in Cincinnati. Although cash America offered me 40 dollars more to buy my firearm. That being sai I will only ever buy from Ted's they are very friendly and knowledgeable and all aroun the best paun shop in Cincinnati.

  Just bought a ring there last weekend and absolutely love it! Great service, best jewelry selection I have ever seen at a pawnshop, and great prices. I would highly recommend Ted's. We traveled over an hour and a half to get there and it was worth every bit of the drive.

  I love this shop they're very knowledgeable when it comes to their firearms and their jewelry. Speaking of Ted's I will be making a stop there today when they open looking at their inventory can't wait to get there.

  I've had bad experiences at pawn shops in the past. Inquiring about used firearms with less than knowledgeable staff on the other side of the counter. Ted's pawn is doing it right. They even have a certified Glock armorer on staff. How many pawn shops can make that claim. His name is Travis Vickers and he's my go to when I'm looking for something in particular. Give Teds pawn a try.

  I came in and made a purchase the other day. Very helpful and friendly staff. Travis was able to entertain all of my questions that I had and I felt more confident after his walkthroughs and explanations!

  I used to live down the street from the old Ted's Pawn location and have been a long-time customer (buying mostly electronics and jewelry). The shop is family-owned, and for that reason, you can tell they have a lot of pride in what they do. They know their stuff. As someone who's been back time and time again, I highly recommend Ted's.

  Honestly my 1st impression would have gave this place a good 4 stars. They have a great selection of music related products, many tools that didn't seem too bad, and a great corner of firearms. I got so excited to see a few muzzle loaders and a few small .22 rifles. I was looking for a 10-22 used for a refinishing project as a gift to my sole mate. They had 3 10-22s at the time, and 1 of them fit the description of what I needed (every other place I checked was sold out, or had none). Sure it was beat up and a little rusty, but the action was good with a clean barrel. Even came with a scope and see through rings at a really good price. So I say that this was the one I wanted... Well it was Saturday, and they stop selling firearms at 2... .it was 2:02. Denied the sale. So because of their 3 day waiting period, I couldn't even come in the week after due to a vacation. So fast forward after that vacation, and I arrive again and amazingly it was still there (I should have smelt something fishy). So Now I go up to check it again and basically say the same thing. Now I'm filling out the 4473 , and As I was probably 3/4 done, they come up to say that they don't sell to people under the age of 21....... As you can imagine I wasn't happy. So not only there is a waiting time, but age discrimination? They had no sign at that time that stated that. So I though it ended there. I went to Armslist for another gun to work on, and BOOM. There is a lot of Ted's guns plastered all over. Even in their description they conveniently forgot to mention they do not sell firearms to persons under the age of 21. I saw some guns I most definitely would have got, but would have been denied anyway. I would not have put this review here, but with the light of recent politics , it got hard to hold my tongue about this. I strongly suggest shopping somewhere else for everything. Even as a gun nut, I'll say no to that beautiful Ruger New Army cap and ball revolver when I do finally turn 21. I was even okay with the 3 day wait, but that age policy prevents the sale. So that's why they had so many nice guns. It's because they cannot sell them from their poor policy choices. Long review, had high hopes, but it should capture my experience pretty well. I sure hope everyone else reads this to avoid an genuine experience that was as bad as mine.

  I went to Ted's to buy a guitar as a gift and the employee helped me to make sure I would have everything needed to get a child started with their first guitar. The staff there was friendly and extremely helpful.

  Meh. I've been here a couple times to look for guitars and not sure why I've gone back. They've got a typical pawnshop array of guitars. Nothing is accessible and staff doesn't seem interested in helping.

  Hi Charles, somewhat atypical...100+ guitars, some priced under $100, others in the $100-500 range, some $500-1,200, and some more than that. Fender, Gibson, Taylor, Martin, Jackson, Epiphone, Schecter, Modulas etc....Lots to choose from. Our staff is low key, non-commision, and low pressure, if you need assistance, just ask and we will be happy to help. But we will not swarm you when you walk in the door...so relax and take a look around to see what you like. Pretty straight forward and simple.
