TD Bank Reviews

Livlong5Way better than the branch in Fanwood. 2 years ago, I tried to deposit a home insurance claim check. The Fanwood branch gave me a hard time about it but this one in Scotch Plains accepted it without a problem. Today, I called the Fanwood branch in advance to see if they could print out tax statements that got lost. They said yes. I arrived to the branch and they didn’t let me in. They said I needed to make an appointment to get the tax statements. Again, I went to this Scotch Plains branch and they accommodated me without any trouble. I’m done with the Fanwood branch and wonder if the bad reviews for this branch may have actually been intended for the Fanwood branch instead.

Steffany Rebecca1Worst customer service ever. I walked in the bank to complete a transaction. As I was waiting in line, the teller ask me to take care of the person behind me. I refused, as I too, needed to go on with my day. They both, teller and customer got upset. I made it to the teller and proceeded to take care of my deposit, the atm wasn't working, and inquired about the change order that I had placed 4 hours prior. The teller asked me to provide IDs with my banking cards which I had. When she realized the amount of money I was depositing, she started asking me personal questions, as if we were buddies. I ignored them. She started asking for more proof, such as social security, address, so on and so forth. It's was a simple deposit, no money was being taken out of the account. Not sure why the harassment....

Eric Louis3As The Most Convenient Bank they need to up their game with the ATM. I use it once a week at most (at most) and I'm surprised at how often I show up to get cash and it's being worked on or running through a system check. Otherwise people are friendly and helpful but the downtime on the ATM is a nuisance. Might make sense to have 2 ATMs.

Tyler1Use this bank if you don’t have anything better to do with your time. Walked in to ask a simple question regarding my account. Waited in like for 15 minutes while the one bank teller helped one lady then she told me to wait for customer service reps off to the side. The available customer service rep walk right by me and began talking to the person that was 3 people behind me in the line. Then said she must call there customer service representatives. She was on hold for 20 minutes while I sat there waiting to the point where the branch manager told me she emailed them and asked me to sit back down in the waiting area. Very unprofessional and don’t value your time what so ever. Stay away from this branch unless your a house mom with nothing better to do with your time.

Brendan Mc5PERFECT!!! I've been a customer here for a couple years now. Finally found a bank that's hassle free, no waits, there's bank branches everywhere and the customer service is awesome. No fees for the most part (depends on what account you have/need). If you do have any issues about anything, their customer service agents are quick to respond and VERY helpful, so no long waits.

Dennis Trachuk1Tried calling for a change order. There are only three cars utilizing the 3 drive throughs. They are neglecting phone calls. Called 20 times and no one has the decency to pick up the Phone to say “please hold” or “ we will be right with you”. Imagine you can’t go in to get change and now they won’t answer their phones. This is hurting business’s all around.

Keela Walker5I'm shocked by some of the reviews I'm reading. Whenever I go to this bank a d specifically this branch everyone is always so helpful and kind in an almost (to be honest) surreal way. 5 stars for me. I hope that doesn't change now that I've seen these reviews 😔.
