The customer service is so god awful, when you make a valid point that their conditions for their own promotion have been satisfied and backed up by factual evidence they can see, they still deny you the promotional benefits, and even hang up on you. I'm closing my account on payday and taking my business elsewhere. This bank is a joke and their employees are straight up clowns.

K J1I have been cashing checks at this branch for several years. Up until today, customer service has been excellent. My experience today was abysmal. I stopped in to exchange a 20 dollar bill for two rolls of quarters, which I have done a few times previously. I was wearing my college sweats and a baseball hat and the teller was rude and demeaning. She treated me as if I was bothering her and as if I were begging for change. was it because of the way i was dressed or did she think my request was beneath her? she demanded my account number in order to exchange a 20 dollar bill for two rolls of quarters. i told her i have an old account and gave her my social. she looked it up and told me my account had been closed and she cannot exchange my bill for the requested currency. I am currently shopping for a mortgage and will not consider TD bank based on the way I was treated today. I will be sure to tell all of my colleagues, family and friends about my experience at TD bank.

Cindy Rinker5I decided to change banks and I heard good things about TD Bank, it is also super convenient. I came in and as usual I was in a hurry. Jamarie Jones has helped me the 4 times I have had to come into the bank. He made something I was dreading super easy, fast and pleasant. He remembered me (or did a great job making me think he did) I wish that people (not only people I do business with) all people would be as pleasant and helpful as he has been. I hope he stays at the Branford Bank. TD Bank and your customers are fortunate to have such a professional and pleasant customer service employee. I just don't see it as much anymore. I would like who ever gets this to make sure that upper management can see it and recognize him. Thank you - Cindy Rinker

Chelsea Stone1After my father passed Being his nested of kin i was tasked with taking care of his affairs from out of state. TD Bank has been running me around and all together unhelpful and insensitive to me trying to close his accounts and disperse money. I got different answers from every employee I spoke with. I had to fly out to go to the bank multiple times without success because each time they needed something else. After seeing me in person and all my legal paperwork they wouldn’t take a fax of the death certificate even though i had officially stamped beneficiary information. These maybe important policies but making a grieving daughter spends hundreds on airfare because you cannot communicate and not being able to help someone out that you have already seen in person because you didn’t keep records or document these meetings is unacceptable customer service. Next time I fly back to CT I will not go to the TD in Branford, I will see if another TD has more agreeable customer service.

Michael Jordan's Ghost1What was once a great bank, now lacks common sense, lacks kindness. Would not cash a paycheck. From a company I've been with over 3 years. And it was a TD check. Do yourself a favor and avoid these grinches

Maureen Sevenuvseven4Would be a 5 if they brought Penny (coin cointing machine) back...one of the best things about banking there, MAJOR disappointment...other than that, great people working there, they smile, call you by name, treat you with respect...never a very long wait in line...drive thru is excellent as well...hands down, the best place i have ever banked and i have lived in 3 states and moved a lot BRING BACK PENNY!!!!!
