TD Bank Reviews

Jamie L (JL)5Started off confused/upset why my balance was lower and got hit by fees when I went to close the account but Diego (and the teller) was sooo amazing! I opened a business account 2 years ago and never touched it. When I went in and told them I want to close the account, the front desk (not teller) told me I had to pay since I had already withdrawn the money out and was hit with an overdraft. I was very confused and upset why I need to pay to close when I never touch the account and had the receipt of deposit. The front desk said, "Have you never opened a bank account before?!" That was very upsetting to hear, I am trying to figure out why I am paying since closing account is simply withdrawing the entire fund. So I did what she told me to do and go get a check to pay the fees. I came back with the check, went to the teller and questioned my statements again. Diego, the manger, stepped in and looked into the details of everything, explained in details what was going (rather than just telling me, pay the fees) and sorted everything out for me! I also want to thank the teller. She also looked into it. The tellers are so courteous; was observing how they interact with other customers, it was just really welcoming compare to other banks. Although my business is closed, but I will definitely open another account for next time. I might consider personal account now!

Timothy Espada1I did not have a pleasant or professional experience today at this location. The lady(Jennifer) who took care of me wasn't friendly at all and I had told her something in the beginning of the transaction. She did the opposite of what I had told her and refused to correct it. My organization (business deposit) requires the confirmation print be on the front of the pink copy of the ticket and she printed it on the back. When I asked her to reprint it she refused(even though it has been done before). She was condescending to my request even though I had requested in a calm manner until she refused to do it. She was worried it would jam her machine. She ultimately offer to reprint on a separate piece of paper which I said ok. She then staples it to the pink copy( I didn't ask her to do that) and now it will tear the pink copy when I make copies. I would never open a personal account with TD based on this experience, customer's requests don't come first. I had even asked to talk a manager when I made my request and she refused and said "what is there to talk to a manager about" in a sarcastic tone.

Rishi R5Customer service reps, Lisa and Lizbeth were able to resolve a very stressful situation . I was being charged fraudulently by UFC fit in greenpoint. This was extremely stressful and I was really concerned about my account. The rest of the staff is really friendly and professional as well . I’m always greeted in a welcoming tone and bank itself is always really really clean. Great job everyone

som rai5I wanted to notarize a document. First went to UPS Austin but they don’t do that. Second H&R Block but they do notarize after 12:00. Some senior folks on that area said TD bank and they do it for free. So I went there, everyone there mostly men were professional and did my nortary promptly and professionally. I will be looking for this bank in future.

N S1Diego is a TERRIBLE branch manager at this location. I will be calling the regional manager in regards to his laziness. HIS LAZINESS SHOWS ALL THE TIME!!! rather than help a client…he was too busy smiling and texting people on his personal phone. Beyond terrible!!! I can see why this branch has such terrible reviews too

Chris Kearse3Ariel refused to return my withdrawal in the bill format that I requested. I'm sure she could have accommodated me if she took customer service a little more seriously. Other than that; fast service, pleasant, and inviting atmosphere.

Maricela Cano1Been dealing with this specific branch for a couple of times now. The first time, I went to reorder checks that had never arrived. That I ordered at a pervious branch. The bank associate said she would eventually place and order, later to find out through another branch in City Hall that the order was never placed. Second time I went to this branch was because I needed a direct deposit form. The Store manager insisted that a check that they would issue me would suffice. I mentioned to him that I may have issues with this check and insisted that I take the check. I took the check and submitted it and the recipient of the voided check said it would not be valid. If you need to go to this branch, please get what you specifically requested for. Its been five days later and I still do not have what I need, with a possible exposure to COVID, I cannot go to the bank and pick it up myself at this moment. I am extremely frustrated at their service and lack of interest on what their customer needs.

R S1The customer representative mrs Cecil kept me wait for 2 hrs more in the busy schedule and refused to help me and she literally took another customer who was after me in line speaking her native language and argued that she had another customer at 2 pm which they never showed up . I felt like I was in a different country after she kicked me out of the line . Finally after 2 + hours a guy helped me and I got some relief that day.

Ralph Dionne1I opened my account for ease of cashing in coins (penny arcade), extended hours, proximity, etc. The penny arcade was recently discontinued. Other than for cashing in my coins, I've always dreaded the long wait time to see a teller. It's the same at every branch I've visited. There are very few tellers in attendance at one time and those that are attending to customers, seem to take an inordinately long time. The tellers and management should consider the frustrations of customers waiting on line. It's hard to believe that people can give the bank a good review. Every person I know who banks at TD Bank has the same issues -- long wait to see a teller. I must say, I'm not insensitive and very very rarely post reviews. TD Bank needs to resolve this issue with their customers. Maybe I'm spoiled with the way lines move so quickly at my primary bank. Hopefully, someone at TD Bank will read my review and fix the problem.
