Susan Kay5The very kindest, most helpful group of customer service agents I've ever worked with here! I opened a new account, set up a card and online banking in a jiffy! They called several times to check up on me and answered questions promptly! Feels like the best kind of hometown banking at a credit union! 5 Stars and highly recommend for professionalism and security!
Response from the ownerThank you, Susan! We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and are so happy to be of service. We'll make sure to share your kind words with the team. Have a great week!

Nicole X (Nic)3I have banked with and had auto loans with TCU for some time now qith no issues and always friendly customer service. At times, I will drop a payment off at the main building, which I never had and issue until the last three weeks. I'm now greeted by an employee (who is very nice) and asks me my name and my business at the bank. This leaves me very flustered and uncomfortable Then I'm directed to a waiting area, to wait for my name to be called... so I watched as a Teller finished with another customer, walked to the other employee who pointed me out and gave the Teller my name, the Teller then walks over to collect me (all still friendly) and takes me back to their counter. I'm not sure why the process, but it feels so uncomfortable, evasive amd not very streamlined/lean. If it's a matter of people congregating around then please invest in rope lines instead of this messy process. I honestly feel bad because people in front of me looked bewildered and ticked off as did the people coming in behind me.
Response from the ownerHello, Nicole. Our apologies for this late response, but we did want to thank you for your feedback. We have been developing and trying out a different model approaching for in-branch visits, and the branch you visited is one of them where we have been testing it out. The model is still being refined, and we're grateful for your observations as we work to make improvements. Thank you again!

Kayla Jordan1Absolutely worst bank to get a auto loan through. I will never get a loan with them again. OH you fell behind on your loan? They are going to lock your mobile payment options and now you must go into the branch and make your payment with cash only..... oh you want a loan holiday... that will be a $25 fee and you have to go to a branch for that as well. If you chose to make a payment be prepared for another $10 fee.... oh you were impacted by covid and your bill is due... good luck.... your bill is due when it's due. so if you are like me and are a long drive from one of their branches keep it in mind.
Response from the ownerHello, Kayla. We understand your frustration, as no one likes to pay fees. We strive to keep fees to a minimum, and the ones mentioned are competitive with – and often lower than – those of other financial institutions under the same circumstances. We also offer multiple ways for submitting payments (even late ones) to avoid the $10 fee and without having to visit a TCU branch, including by mail, ACH transfer, or stopping by one of the thousands of CO-OP shared branches, at least one of which may be closer to where you live. Our Member Services team is more than happy to review these options with you to help you avoid fees in the future. During the height of the pandemic, we provided COVID relief measures to thousands of our members (including you) who notified us that their ability to make payments were going to be impacted. Again, we truly understand your frustration, and we’re certainly willing to work with you the best we can to accommodate your situation.

Ricardo Gallarzo1STAY AWAY! NEVER finance with this place Response to the owner: your representative lied to me. I was told to make a payment on nov.28 and it wouldn't go on my report. I did that and still went on my report. I was in constant contact with you. I told u when I could make a payment and was told it would be okay. Had I not been lied to I would have taken better precautions. But your credit union is a shady place just look at your reviews. I wish I would have seen them before I financed with you. Furthermore, who ever told you she tried to help is lying she did absolutely nothing to help. She kept repeating "there's nothing we can do". Great customer service.
Response from the ownerHello. We strive to resolve all issues to our members’ satisfaction. We understand that you spoke at-length with one of our team members who did their best to provide guidance on how to resolve your issue. At this point, however, we strongly recommend that you request a copy of your credit report from a credit bureau so you can review and dispute any entries that you consider to be inaccurate. Thank you.

Paul Creech1Absolutely worst tellers (Bill) young, rude, and disrespectful. Obviously racist tendencies! Towards my mixed race daughter! Ths branch is completely out of control! I'm ashamed!
Response from the ownerHello, Paul. First, we want to assure you that we take any feedback of this nature very seriously, and that creating a positive and welcoming environment for all our members and their families is fundamental to who we are as a credit union. Your comments were forwarded to members of our management team for the Main Street branch. Unfortunately, there is no team member named Bill at this location. If this incident happened at a different branch, please let us know. Thank you.

a s1Today I spent 20 minutes on hold, asked what my ATM withdraw limit was, and got hung up on. This is a typical experience based on the years I’ve been with TCU: worst local bank and worst credit union in the region. My mom has been with them since forever and that’s the only reason I keep an account active.

Brad Barry1The worst auto loan experience I’ve ever had. 0/10 recommend them

Linda Hill2I haven't even made my first installment yet and I called on 2 questions and the teller wasn't pleasant and seemed hurried, absolutely no personality or warmth in her voice at all. Okay, I understand they may be having a bad day or bogged down with paperwork, but a little pleasantry can go a long way.
Response from the ownerGood morning, Linda. Hope you had a great July 4 holiday. I'm sorry for your recent experience but appreciate you letting us know. I will make sure to share your comments with our Member Experience Team. Have a great day!

Dawn R Stitzer1think twice and watch what you sign by them they are terrible i was a victim of mil tarty scammers ii reported to the fbi federal trade commission and local police. they all agreed it was not my fault but the bank.. the bank never checked the deposit directly to see what or where it is at. the bank made agreement with the bank. not to ask me for the money back. im disabled women and who has a disabled mother who has 6 strokes how am i supposed to pay 7,000 back i found out more information about teacher credit union. the tellers are not supposed to take money from a forgein country unless approved by the federal banking system and manger and stop hold. they are supposed to put a 5 to 7 days hiold call the person to ask if they knew the person or met them. they can not turn you over to credit debt collection they have that them self. and they can not take anything if you get less then what you make
