  Hans and Finance of America provided amazing service and kept us informed every step of the way. This was our first home purchase and we had a lot of questions, which Hans quickly answered. We never felt “out of the loop” and we appreciated that the most. The Finance of America document signings were all electronic except for part of the closing docs.   Hans made this whole process way less stressful than we had thought it was going to be. He answered all of my wife's questions and trust me she asked a lot. He was always there day and night to help through the process. We are recommending Hans to all of our family and friends as there is nobody better at customer service!   Flaky, flaky, flaky. He mismanaged our financial documents, misplaced copies of other IMPORTANT information, and will not respond to e-mails in a timely manner. We got so frustrated with Hans that we left (with a bad taste in our mouth as well), and went elsewhere. I'm not sure if this is how First Priority functions as a whole, or if the fast and loose way of running this branch is due to Hans. Either way, it definitely didn't work for us. Maybe he would have been more "motivated" to stay on top of things, if we were able to get a larger loan...just sayin'!

  I just wanted to put a note out there that Al Zapparelli is identified as being from Chicago and only has 1 review and it is this one. I only handle loans in California. He is not my customer and I do not think this is a real person so I can't address actual concerns as I have no frame of reference to do so. We can't help everyone and some people take that personally. I am happy to work on loans of any size and my goal is to evaluate what we can do for them and let them know right away.
