Dawn Johnson5I do not know how anyone can have a negative experience with this establishment. I do not have an account with them being as we bank online only but everytime I need to pull cash they are always friendly and knowledgeable. As a matter of fact we are starting up an account with them today. They have always gone above and beyond. I guess this would be the kind of place where if you treat them with respect they will do the same.

Cynthia Hancock1This place is terrible. Went in with my mother who had an account and honestly I don't know how they have business. The younger women there don't know anything and just want to talk to each other and not pay attention to the customers or do any work. They were unprofessional and I am currently taking my mother to setup a new account so they can close the one with Sunflower. And apparently the workers are always like that from the stories I heard from my mother

Tarrance Price5Not a business transaction but a family experience. It's rare in today's world that you can walk into a place of business and the business knows your name. I have been blessed to experience this friendly, warm environment for 30 years with Sunflower Bank. I'm grateful for the relationships that has been there since I was a teenager and manifested itself in a trying time for my family. They continue to show high level professionalism and true love and concern. Thank you Sunflower Bank!

Marie Grisotto1I’ve been doing my personal banking with Sunflower for about 4 years, so when I needed to open a business account and get auto financing, of course I turned to Sunflower first. I thought my good banking history with them would be helpful and they would know my current financial situation better than any other lender. I was wrong. I couldn’t even get info on opening a business account as they were “out of brochures.” I’m not opening a business account at a bank that can’t even tell me the basics of their business account features. Sunflower also denied my auto loan and told me I needed a co-signer. My credit score isn’t great, but I thought they may see that my financial situation has improved considerably over the last couple years and they know how much is usually in my checking account (more than enough to cover a car payment). I went to a different bank the same day and they gave me an auto loan at a decent rate. When the bank I’ve been loyal to for years gives me the worst treatment, it’s time to switch banks.

Celest McGowan5Tammy Ballard...... My husband and I have been with Sunflower Bank for many years. We desperately needed to consolidate some debt. In December I applied for a $40,000 loan. Sunflower Bank couldn't provide us with the loan we thought we wanted. Tammy knew our desperation from our conversations, so she asked if we would be interested visiting with Jason, from Guardian Mortgage. She assured us that Guardian Mortgage was in association with Sunflower Bank. We agreed and making a long story short....We got our loan!!!!! Yea :-). Tammy was always available and offered assistance along the way. She was very kind, caring and sincere. What a Excellent asset to your company, she never made me feel unappreciated but encouraged us not to give up. Thanks Tammy for your excellent customer service. You are appreciated

Jason Dent5This is the Best local bank in the community! Everyone from the Bank Manager to the Tellers are super friendly and go out of their way to ensure all your banking needs are met. If you haven't heard of the referral bonuses and new checking account bonus, you my friends are missing out. My only regret is not seeing them sooner.

J. Petroski (kansas_guy_jc79)5I must say that this is by far the best bank I have ever banked at. Then again I have only banked at 1 other bank which is Navy Federal Credit Union. For a local bank it's top notch though. I have been banking with Sunflower ever since I was 13 years old and I had my mother and father open up a 2 signature Checking Account since I was making money doing odd jobs and needed a place to store my money to show how fiscally responsible I was. 24 years later and I still have my account with Sunflower Bank. I have been working overseas for over 13 years and what other banks may charge you for international charges or ATM Fees Sunflower has always been fair with their fees. I now own a house in Texas but that doesn't mean I will ever give up on having my Sunflower Bank Account. I have no problem getting through to them on the phone whenever a problem may arise such as obtaining new Debit Cards or to find out any other information.

Sarah Schechter1Redoing this edit : Seriously have your employees work on their attitudes. There are several reviews here that are complaints about employee attitudes. Almost every single time I come to this bank the tellers are extremely rude. There is no need for that. Management neglecting these issues just shows how irresponsible and disrespectful this bank is.
