Summit State Bank Reviews

Virginie Dorn5We have worked with Summit State Bank since 2015 and could not be more pleased. It is a great bank for business owners like us. Their support for our business has been outstanding and their customer service always top notch. We would recommend them to any businesses or organizations in need of a solid business bank who cares for their customers.

J Bronson1Two employees appeared to be engaged in a deep personal discussion when I walked in. The other employee was texting and too busy to notice I was standing ten feet away. While patiently waiting for someone to take note of my presence, a man emerged from behind a glass door of what appeared to be a manager's or supervisor's office, wearing sandals and an un-tucked Hawaiian style shirt. He strolled past me without acknowledging my presence as well. I quietly departed and will find a more professional organization to move my business account to.
Response from the ownerThank you for taking the time to send a message about your recent experience at Summit State Bank. First of all, please accept my apology for the manner in which you were treated. The behavior you described is unacceptable to us and is not the level of service we strive to deliver. Our employees are trained to greet customers upon entering the branch and our team failed you. Our Chief Operating Officer, Genie Del Secco, would like to talk to you about your experience if you will consider taking the time for a phone conversation. Again, I am sorry for the way you were treated and would welcome the opportunity to learn how we can make things right with you. Please let me know the best way to communicate with you. All my best, Roni Brown, SVP/Marketing Director

Sarah Small1Terrible experience. I work for DSS clients (disabiled adults) and I brought my client with me to run an errand. We go in to make a deposit, and we had to use the restroom. The staff directed me to use the bathroom on the third floor. We go up there and this man, grey hair, dull clothing, and glasses. He was very rude. He told us that we weren't allowed to use the restrooms because we were not doing business in the building. He said there was a downstairs bathroom we could use, he didn't explain where or offer any sort of apologies. He was blunt rude and very unprofessional. I have never have felt so disrespected and my client felt ashamed after theencounter.
Response from the ownerPlease accept my sincere apology for the manner in which you and your client were treated. The building does not have public restrooms, however on occasion we make exceptions, which is why you were directed to the third-floor suite. The first and second floors of the building are secured and used by the Bank for its operations. The third floor is not secured and is occupied by the bank’s tenants. Regardless, the behavior you described is unacceptable and we will take action so that this situation will not happen again. Again, I am sorry for the way you were treated and thank you for sharing your experience, so we can rectify the situation. All my best, Roni Brown, SVP/Marketing Director

Kayse Gehret5When I opened my business in Sonoma County, I met with numerous local banks... There are lots of great options, but Summit State - far and away - had the most enthusiastic referrals and references. From the start, their staff has been informed, engaged and helpful; they have gone above and beyond to help make introductions, welcome my business to the area and provide valuable advice. In just a few months, they have done more for my business than my previous (vast, nationwide bank) bank did in years. So glad we made the change! I've worked personally with Emily, Judy and Elaina and cannot say enough good things about them ---- if you're in Sonoma County, I highly recommend checking Summit State out for your personal or business banking....
