  Great all around! Great people, very friendly. Great interest rates and low fees. Free coin counting services in the lobby for members, where every other bank charges a percentage for that. Lots of drive-thru lanes and an ATM.

  Over 40 minute wait on hold before I got to talk to a teller. Had to call many times because wait was so long. Also made it hard to use functions they pride themselves on, like the co-op banking. I had great difficulty.

  They actually want me to enter my social security number to use their mobile banking app! Who would enter their SSN to download an app? What a serious violation of security. And from a financial institution that has access to all my accounts. Avoid Summit CU!

  If you need a new financial institution, really consider Summit Credit Union. Professional, friendly, and extremely helpful! My go-to person is Ryan Husom for all my questions. He is always helpful and if he doesn't have an answer he will get me the answer. My other favorite is Patrick Kommer, Sr. Lending Advisor. Patrick is easy and outgoing, super friendly and gave us some pointers to take care of then said he would check back with us in March to see if we could lower some rates. Summit goes above and beyond what others do. My last bank never made any suggestions even when we had a sit down meeting with a "personal" lender.

  Kyle is by far one of the best employees from a credit union I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I've been car shopping for months, and I bought my first car with him, and he actually stayed past their closing time to help me finalize everything! Now I'm shopping for a second car, and I've been very indecisive, and Kyle has helped me every step of the way, providing the numbers I need and some negotiation tips along the way. Kyle really goes above and beyond! He's even called me a few times since I bought the first car just to check in, and that shows me that both he and summit really care about their customers.

  As a single mother throughout COVID, this institution has done little to nothing to help me. Overdraft charges during COVID not waived. I will be switching to another bank ASAP. Poor customer service. Each time I call I get a different interpretation of the contract that I've signed. I do not recommend this bank to anyone who is struggling financially.

  I love places where the employees are happy. I haven't been at summit for long but I saw how they treated my daughter when I brought her to open her account and I decided I'd also be better off doing business with them. I didnt get the loan I asked for but I've been a high risk person about those things and that's what they are helping me change by seeing the benefits my daughter gets from having good credit. Now places are more willing to loan to me and my credit is going up. Once I pay back and prove myself, I'm sure I could get a loan approved then. And I'll be happy that they didnt put me in a position to fail when I am in a better place to succeed. And I'll be glad they dont loan money to someone like the old me because that means they will still be around to loan some cash to the new me if I ever need it.

  There is a reason Summit Credit Union has been voted best financial in Sun Prairie for 10 years in a row. Terrific service, no fee checking accounts, and all of their consumer lending is fee-free and super easy to get done. Simply put, it’s just easy to do business with Summit and they are always there for you when you need it. Love Summit!

  Patrick is really great. He refinanced me at a lower interest rate and he also helped me with credit card debt counseling and referred me to a financial advisor. I really feel like this credit union has been a huge help to me financially.
