Mackenzie Kuntz5Cynthia Gonzalez is not only super nice and professional, but she ALWAYS goes above and beyond to make sure I get everything I need when I come through drive through. I always hope I get her when I’m at this location or any other location even though I know she’s only at this one. She knows me so well, and what I want that sometimes I just wait to come to this location to see her because I don’t even need to tell her what I need! She truly is amazing! Thank you Cynthia! I’ll be back ☺️
Response from the ownerThanks so much, Mackenzie! We appreciate you sharing your great experience with Cynthia and we look forward to your next visit!

Mice Ly1I went to deposit a couple checks at the drive through on my hour lunch. Took me 20 mins waiting in line to finally have my turn. Waited 5 minutes and NOT one employee acknowledges me at all. Had to press the call teller button to have them send me the tube. Finally Sent that through, after 10 or 15 minutes an employee finally decided to talk to me asking if its for a deposit I told her yes. Next I heard from the teller was 10 to 15 minutes later saying ok your all set. Mind you I an hour lunch! That quick trip to the bank took up my whole lunch hour and I was a minute late clocking into work. By far the worst summit branch there is. Customer service is horrible and I will never be going back to that branch again. I do not want to spend almost an hour depositing a check.
Response from the ownerMice, thank you for bringing your experience to our attention. We’re disappointed to hear this and the branch manager is reaching out to you to discuss your experience.

Lou Groshek1I went to this branch to transfer $3,600 from an IRA savings account to a money market account (for use in a first-time home purchase). First I was told I needed an appointment with a loan officer. I clarified that I wasn't shopping for a loan, just gathering funds for my closing costs and mortgage down payment. A staff member finally agreed to help me. He then insisted that I had to pay a 10% tax penalty for early withdrawal to transfer the funds. I explained there is an exception for first-time homebuyers, and that he could find information about it on the IRS web site. He called someone else, hung up, and demanded a letter from my accountant proving that I was a first-time homebuyer. I clarified that the penalty was between me and the IRS. If it were due, which it wasn't, since I was a first-time homebuyer, I could pay it when I paid my taxes, if I didn't have proof that I had bought a home. I told him I could show him documentation of the purchase agreement, closing date, and mortgage on my phone. I asked for the name of the document. He could not provide it. He refused to give me access to my money. I finally gave up, went home, and called the helpline, where someone else walked me through moving the money myself. This time I was not asked for any document from an accountant. I spent a total of 4 hours trying to move this money. A task which took me 5 minutes from my ETrade brokerage account. Do not give these people your retirement savings. They might not give it back!

Jayson Brown3Extremely disappointed in the last couple visits to the Junction Rd branch. I stopped thru the drive up on 11/9 to deposit my daughter's paycheck. I'm not a signer on her account and did not have her account #. Her paycheck had her full first, middle, last name as well as her address. After no lie, 15 minutes the teller comes on sends the check back out and tells me she can't find her account and she can't deposit it unless I provide the account #. I have worked for Summit and know 1000% there are about 753 different ways to find a member's account. After calling my daughter at home 5 times(teens), I had to have her dig through our files at home for her member #. She deposits the check- no thank you, no apology. This branch's customer service is declining quickly!!

Arrielle Stewart1I love summit, but this is easily the worst location, unless you have a half hour, don't swing thru. Without fail the slowest bank, every. single. time.
Response from the ownerArielle, we're sorry to hear this. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. The branch manager is reaching out to you to discuss your experience.

Jasmin Borzick5Nicole went above and beyond helping me today and I couldn't be more grateful!! She made things so easy for me to set up both a new checking account and a savings account. She also helped me apply for a Summit Credit Union credit card so I can build up my credit score. She gave tips for everything along the way and was very personable. We are getting married this fall and looking to buy a house after that, I know we'll definitely be going through Summit Credit Union for help with that as well! Thank you!!
Response from the ownerJasmin, thanks for taking the time to let us know about your positive experience with Nicole at our Old Sauk branch. That’s wonderful news and we’ll be sure to let them know about your feedback. Have a great day!

Jacky Varney1On saturday i was told they could just freeze my debit card for me but today(monday) i’m told the exact opposite. That the only way they can do anything is to give me an entirely new card. There was no fraud, just left my wallet in a close friends car and was being proactive about freezing it until it was back in my hands. Very disappointed in the incompetence and rudeness of their employees, if you’re considering opening an account here dont, save yourself the headache and get an account with a different credit union entirely. I am completely blown away that the people working here don’t know the correct procedure or customer service.

Erin Haugh1It shouldn't take 40 minutes to get through the drive up. I understand that it's busy and things take longer, but at one point there were more than 20 cars lines up. There has to be a more efficient way.

Christina Mabra5My husband and I have banked with Summit for years. We love this branch because they have great ways to save and very low interest rates. The staff go above and beyond to give financial advice and are so friendly. Definitely recommend this to anyone.

Andrew Werden5I got my home financing through Summit and couldn't be happier. They made the process extremely simple, and they worked so hard to get me a quick closing. Absolutely the best place to get a mortgage hands down.
Response from the ownerThanks for sharing, Andrew! We're happy to hear you're enjoying the Summit difference!
