I contacted strand and spoke to a representative name Sharon and she told me she had to put her banking in and hung up the phone on me. Double charge me a late fee and were extremely rude They don’t even deserve one star but that’s the minimum that you can give to write a review

Timone Gordon4Decent insurance and they have also been helpful during this pandemic. Marilyn from collections is super sweet and helpful. I personally didn't have any auto claims with them so I am unsure how smooth payout would be if in an accident, but the customer service during my time with their policy has been great!

Chuck Schultz1Very unprofessional, my wife and I have spent hours on the phone with them about our insurance, we paid our bill 1 month in advance not to miss a payment and then 2 months when they kept saying we were late with our payment and they added late fees every month anyway. After calling and getting hung up on by Sharron I had enough, I called back was told by Sharron to talk to her boss Howard about it because "her numbers are always right". Asked Sharron to have Howard call me back, we'll see. So I guess our time has no value with all the hours my wife and I spent on this with nothing but hassles, while we should be working to pay them, funny right.

Fernanda Leach1I would like to start off by saying I have only had my commercial policy with Strand for a few mths. However the experience has been a nightmare. I have made two calls to the company only to speak with a rude lady name Marilyn. She is very unprofessional, rude, and lack any ENTRY level customer service skills. She talk over you and tell that you are the problem. If Marilyn is the face of Strand then she is not a professional representation. I was looking for a long term relationship with this company however Marilyn has made it clear that my business is not needed. I Will definitely look for services with a professional business who would really have answers and express concern along with customer service skills, I would not recommend this company to anyone if Marilyn is employed

Kathrin Rafimayeri5i cannot say enough great things about this company and their employees. one is better and more courteous than the other. My ultimate, favorite and sweetest lady there is MARILYN. She is an absolute delight to talk with every month. I can pay my payment online, however, i enjoy speaking with her every month. I highly recommend this company. in this automated world today, its nice to know that there is REAL people behind these great companies and they are not automated. thank you for all that you do.

Diamond Flooring1I have to say they are a really bad company trying to nickel pick every penny.have no answers and will not recommend it.They know your insurance is cancel and charge for the month and then tell you to call dmv because they have nothing to do with that when they knew and took payment. A nice way to robe people watch out with this company not good at all. Services is the worst when speaking about a claim. But to get payment they would involve lawyers and all that legal stuff. Will definitely look for services with professional people who would really have answers and not be after the bills.

Brad Montgomery1Im Extremely frustrated and dissapointed In Dealing with this Company. I financed a vehicle and started car insurance with Strand Insurance In The beginning of August. They Sent a Premium To Integon Insurance after I started the Insurance however, the vehicle turned out to be a Lemon So I took it back, Got My Down Payment Refund (without a problem Surprisingly, might I add) I cancelled my Car Insurance a few days after taking the car back Only because I didnt receive the downpayment refund until then. I had insurance Through strand for all ONE WEEK!!! Yes...just 7 DAYS!!...Anyways (Long Story Short) Here I'am almost two months later still waiting for my deductable refund, and after a million calls, I'm finally told today that I will not be receiving a refund of my Deductable AT ALL! With no explanations whatsoever! Why do you wrip off people who are supposed to be your customers? I'm just told that there are "Charges" to your money that they charge to your deductable before processing your refund. What charges? How come I was never informed? How come refuse to tell me?what are all of these "Charges" your charging me for having insurance through you for 7 days?? Im trying not to get angry but this is extremely dissapointing. I'm a father attempting to buy a car to go spend time with my daughter and to get to work without taking 2 buses there and back at nights and U people care nothing about anything but further stuffing your pockets with Shady practices and charges you refuse to explain or probably dont even have. I'm tired of calling, being placed on hold, Told to call back, and given the voicemail. I will be in Contact with the BBB regarding this matter because I feel taken advantage of. Everyone in your business should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of hardworking citizens! I have no desire whatsoever to be a problem with anyone at your company. I Just want some part of my refund back and to never have to talk to you people again, and go elsewhere for insurance. You'll never understand how frustrating this is for me but it seems you dont care because its not you in this position. Thanks for wripping me off, refusing to explain anything, and rushing me off the phone..Such evil practices to done to hardworking individuals these days

Pretty soon if they continue committing illegal acts I will contact the department of banking and insurance. Insureds on strand already pay very high premiums alone, and just to get robbed additionally is 100% unethical. Shame on you strand.

Qualema Wideman5THEY WERE A LITTLE PRICEY, BUT THEY TRULY CAME THROUGH DURING THE PANDEMIC. THEY WAIVED LATE FEES AND EXTENDED MY PAYMENT WHEN I NEEDED. I WAS AT A PART TIME JOB, CONSTANTLY LOSING HOURS.. BUT I NEEDED MY CAR SO I MADE SACRIFICES IN MY DAILY LIFE TO PAY THE BILL. I PAID IT OFF EARLY AND SET MYSELF FREE. I DON'T EVEN DRIVE MY CAR ANYMORE, I USE MY PAPAS TRUCK 24/7.
