  Worked with Steve twice to finance and refinance my home in Hawaii. The first time, Steve wasn't able to help me and was honest that he couldn't get the rate I was offered from other mortgage brokers. He told me to stay with them and wished me the best. When it came to to refinance, I reached out to Steve again to see what he could do to support a refinance. This time his rates were very competitive and were significantly more favorable to me compared to competitors. We went with Steve for the refinance, and saved over $500/month on our mortgage!

  Steve at Obama Mortgage was the most helpful and informative person in our whole process in purchasing our first home. As stressful and complicated as it might have been, Steve helped to simplify everything and work with our tough timeline in getting everything approved, signed, and quickly got our keys in hand. The back side of buying a house, the talking with escrow and banks and credit card companies, is a lot and Steve was a professional at it all. Very helpful and glad we had him on our team!

  Steve was amazing! Our loan process was anything but normal or easy! But Steve was there with us every step of the way. He was amazing at answering questions for us in a way we understood. When it came to dealing with the mortgage company it was great that we didn't need to lift a finger to contact anyone! Steve took care of it all! Without having Steves knowledge and support we would have given up on the process and not be a homeowner!   I have purchased 5 properties before I worked with Steve. I am beyond glad that he was recommended and we decided to utilize his company. Hands down the best out of 6 properties purchased over the years. Additionally this was during COVID. Despite the challenges that brings still excellent. Only negative was couldn’t meet face to face.   Steve and the Ohana Mortgage team walked us through every step of our home-purchasing process, from pre-approval to final closing day. They are professional, have excellent customer service, and were timely in response to emails and calls. We got a great deal on our mortgage, and understood what was happening with notification emails and check ins at each stage. We purchased in CA (Los Angeles) and there was no lag in our process. Would highly recommend!
