Pablo Barragán2Smh..... I really wish they would tell me they were going to charge me for coming in not just give me a receipt at the end to show me I was charged...... Other than that super nice and friendly people.
Response from the ownerHi Pablo, sorry for the delay in responding. We'd like to look into this further. If you'd be willing to email us at [email protected] we can try to get to the bottom of this!

Jesse Hull5Fantastic interest rates, free checking no fees, attentive and enthusiastic service. Good communication. Only critique would be higher dividends on money market accounts but that's splitting hairs.
Response from the ownerThanks for your review Jesse!

Kodee “Ashton” Campbell2Everyone that I encountered here was always nice. However, a few weeks ago I went in here to make two shared branch transactions about 5 days apart. I'm in the process of changing my name with BECU (has to be done by mail). I didn't have any problems the first time I went into STCU. The 2nd time when I went back in though, two employees informed me that I wouldn't be able to do this because the last name on my ID didn't match the information they had. I told them I was in the process of changing my name & that it has to be done by mail & they still wouldn't. I asked why I was able to make a payment a few days prior and she told me that since then they've been asked to start reviewing their "rules" as shared banking partners. I left irritated that I drove 30 mins for nothing, but, rules are rules. It's when I called BECU and they told me they have NO IDEA why they refused that I got more irritated. BECU told me that it shouldn't make a difference because STCU is just receiving the payment for them and if I had all the information it should have been fine. They told me that anyone can walk into a bank/credit union and make a deposit into an account as long as you have the account info. BECU's rep asked me to go back to STCU and hand them my phone so that he could explain to them what I was doing was fine but I was almost home by that point. Just tells me there is no communication there between the branches. Guess I'll have to stick to bill pay lol.
Response from the ownerHi Kodee - Oh no, sounds like a frustrating experience, we're sorry to hear that! With our shared branching rules, you can deposit money into any account as long as you have the account number, but if you are depositing into your own account, you need identification that matches the account. We'd be happy to connect you with someone if you'd like to discuss this further, send us an email with your contact info to [email protected]

Kelly Knurbein-Sevall5Should have posted this a couple of months back, but wanted to pass along that if anyone is in the market for a home loan Brandon Reed is your guy. He will go above and beyond any of your expectations to be sure that you are getting the best loan for your money and will be upfront with all information necessary and will get you the answers to any questions you may have. He is certainly an asset to STCU and to the community.
Response from the ownerHi Kelly! Thank you for your review. We’ll make sure to pass this along to Brandon and the team!

Jim Cazier1Not sure what kind of bank thinks being closed on Saturdays and closing at 5 on week days will keep people using them. Almost as bad as WSECU. But not quite
Response from the ownerHi, Jim. Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your frustration with our branch hours. Our Tri-Cities branches are both open until 5:30 p.m. in the drive-through, and we have a number of options (like 24-hour ATM and online banking access, mobile deposit, and an after-hours call center) that are designed to help serve our member when the branch is closed. But, we also understand that sometimes you just want to talk to someone face to face. We will be sure to pass your input on to our leadership team for future consideration. Again, that you for your feedback and for being a valued member of STCU.
