  Offered me less than 10% on a brand new $2000 iPad with $200 pen and $200 case setup. Don’t be fooled by the beautiful mustache, this guy only wants to profit in your situation. I went to the pawn shop about two miles away and the guy offered me $700 on the spot as his starting bid….

  Couple things here: First, thank you for the mustache compliment 😊 Second, I tried explaining that we don’t take electronics as collateral due to their quick depreciation, but you insisted I make an offer. Third, if I was looking to profit from your situation I would’ve offered a higher loan amount in order to charge more interest. Lastly, your review is based on my offer and not how we operate as a business, which is unfortunate. I take pride in the fact that I work with my customers and build relationships that enable us to offer more for their collateral the more they use our services. Cheers😄

  Highly recommended. The owner and the workers went above and beyond and took care of all my needs that I needed as well as Help me identify Some of my diamonds to tell if they were real or not.If you're Considering where to take your gold or silver or even just wanna buy some rings or diamonds This place would be the place to go.This is not just my 1st time going this is multiple times and they have also never shorted me or anything like that a 100% professional.   When I started my search for an engagement ring, I had no luck finding what I truly wanted in jewelry stores. However, this was not the case at State Street Jewelry and Loan. My fiancé and I were completely blown away by this hidden gem. Alan created my ABSOLUTE dream ring. It is seriously more perfect than I ever could have imagined. Alan was so patient, explained everything in detail, and was happy to answer all questions. It was reassuring to feel so comfortable with a big decision. I am so in LOVE with my ring. Thank you State Street Jewelry and Loan for all you have to offer. (My fiancé even bought a set of golf clubs from here and loves them!)

  State Street Jewelry & Loan is amazing. It’s my go-to whenever I need a present for my wife. They made our engagement and wedding rings, and I have found some super cool vintage pieces there too. Staff and ownership are honest, friendly, and knowledgeable, and their prices are great. Really good selection of bikes, tools, and musical instruments too.

  Was going to purchase a DVD player we need to fix a Panasonic Q system and when I called to make sure it was in stock since it said add to cart then she originally said its a car stereo then I told her to double check and she comes back and starts using excuses that they do not have it anymore. Pretty disappointed in how she treated me and how she didn't care for the situation. I do not recommend buying from this place online and to only purchase items that you can physically see since they are deceiving. Edit: The owner called me and explained to me about what happened, and while I understand things can happen where they forgot to mark something as sold (even though you should stay on top of) I admire his dedication in finding out who wrote this, call me back and explain everything. I am leaving it at 4 stars because of the person who was rude on the phone, but I am bumping it 3 more stars because of the owner.

We apologize for any mis-understanding, the online site you're referring to is Buya.com which is a third party company that pools inventory from various pawn shops and lists them for sale online.   This is a great place for cool vintage and newer items like surfboards, bikes, and musical instruments. I also like to come here to purchase cheap, quality tools. The owner is friendly and I enjoy my experiences shopping here.

  This is a great place to purchase discounted vintage jewelry. I also purchased a bicycle here for much lower than competing shops. Very happy with my purchase, I’ll be back!
