State Employees’ Credit Union Reviews

Richard Adkins1Disappointed. I don’t often do reviews and even though the process went through without any hiccups It still felt like one should’ve occurred. Not sure if it was a bad day by the rep who helped me last name Brown, but I went in excited to open a new account and left wondering if I made a mistake. During the process it felt like I was being a bother just by being there. When I asked a question it was met with an uneasy quick response borderline rude, which discouraged me from asking any more questions and waiting to speak to someone else from home. Overall disappointing but hopeful that this isn’t the case at most branches

Joni Coleman5Hailey Nunez was such a wonderful person. She helped me out so much and gave me alot of insight on what to do with managing my money and my credit score. She will definitely be my go to person when I come into this bank. Thank you so much

ryanfsu19821SECU randomly held a deposited check for 7 days after I was told there would be 1 day hold. Bank customer service could not explain way, nor attempted to rectify the situation. Employee was not well informed of bank policy or procedures. She did however provide various guesses, but never attempted to fix the problem. Terrible

Mattie T1Only two windows open day after a holiday. I've no idea what was taking so long. Sat in line for over 30 minutes before I got my transaction done.

Christina Hall3I live near this one and use the drive thru often with my young children. Everyone is polite it just takes so long. Even if I'm the only one and just depositing cash. It takes a fraction of the time at any other branch I've visited even if depositing a check and they dont make me fill out a deposit slip at other branches either. With babies it is just easier to not. The one time I tried depositing in the atm it wouldn't read my card. I hope they resolve the issue of taking so long because it is a drive to any other branch.

Monique McGregor1Husband and I went up there to speak to someone about a home loan. An hour passed bye and still no one said anything to us. So we left and went to the Holden rd branch and they was able to assist us.

Joseph Moss1Never had a problem with SECU until I came to this branch they wanted to put a hold on a 600$ check which is a very low amount that I usually deposit weekly
