  My attempt at acquiring a loan at one of the large banks was denied. But, Dave Wittkamp, President of Spring Valley Bank was personally concerned about arranging a loan for me for a new home. The paperwork was taken care of by the very efficient, professional staff and within 10 days, I was closing on my new home! I would confidently recommend Spring Valley Bank in Wyoming, Ohio to anyone who likes to work with people who really care about their customers!

  This is a local community bank that was recommended to me because they have a reputation of being willing to make great loans to real estate investors. I applied for a loan and was approved quickly, with the lowest interest rate I've been offered so far. Since then, working with them has been a great experience for me.

  I am a commercial RE investor and have seen a ton of advertisement from Randy Church on Loopnet (commercial MLS). I was looking to refinance $3m worth of real estate and wanted to build a long term banking relationship. I emailed Randy (11/4/15) and gave him details of my properties and financials. I followed up seven days later (11/11/15) and he claimed he had email problems. I sent him more documentation and my full portfolio. No response until I follow up on (11/23/15). His response on 12/14/15 was he can only give me an interest rate and terms after I give him a $500 deposit. I then RAN AWAY. Shortly after, I had two different local banks competing for all of my business and was able to refi all of my properties at unheard of terms. I would bank elsewhere.
