  Couldn’t have been matched up with a better company for our first home buying experience. Our situation was tricky and Tim was patient, kind, explained things, and was always transparent with us. The process went as quick as it could possibly go thanks to everyone’s timely and efficient work and response. This company and everyone in it takes SERIOUS pride in their work. They love what they do, and it shows. I highly recommend them to everyone - especially first time homebuyers!

  This is a review for Tim. My fiancé has been communicating with him since November of 2021, so that would make it just about 2 months. We are moving from Washington to Ohio and Tim had been so helpful, explaining different programs for down payment assistance that he can help us get set up for and whatnot. Yesterday we physically look at houses (flew to Ohio all the way from Washington), find a house we love, and make an offer because according to Tim everything was great and in order. Tim called my fiancé today and told him that he has no programs for us to apply for in regard to down payment assistance. AFTER HE ALREADY TOLD US HE DID AND THAT EVERYTHING WAS IN ORDER TO MAKE AN OFFER ON A HOUSE. He also refused to acknowledge the fact that he had talked about the DPA program at all. So, now our poor realtor is having to scramble to figure out a new way to help us and hopefully we can get this house. I am SO disappointed in this terrible service we received. He was so kind for the months leading up to now and had our hopes up that he was a reliable loan officer, as he seemed very professional. I will never recommend Tim Madden to anyone ever. If he helps you, please make sure he ACTUALLY has everything 100% in order (as well as in writing) before you make any decisions. I hate leaving this review because of how helpful he seemed, but this is ridiculous.

  This was my first time ever buying a home, and Tim and Fran were amazing throughout the entire process. They were very patient and explained everything so well and made me feel super comfortable. I had shopped around at different banks and I’m so glad I was recommended to go with Humbert Mortgage, as they spent so much extra time and energy to get me the loan I needed after several banks had turned me away. I don’t think anyone else would have put in as much effort as Tim did! My situation was definitely more complicated than most, but Tim was determined to investigate further and find a way to make it work, and he did! They kept me informed with updates, and I learned a lot throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend anyone who is looking to get a home loan to go with Humbert Mortgage. I can’t speak highly enough about them. Thanks Tim & Fran!!

  Although we didn’t ultimately use Humbert (this time), we would definitely work with Humbert in the future. Tim was down to earth, very well-informed, and personable. He taught me a lot in our initial conversation. Someone who takes the time to educate the consumer while selling a product is “good people” in my book, you know!? Thanks for everything Tim!   I was a first time home buyer and referred to Humbert Mortgage. I cannot say enough good things about Tim and the team at Humbert. They made the home buying process so smooth. Tim took the time to answer all of my typical “first time buyer questions.” I had an issue with the appraisal on my house and Tim worked on my behalf to fix the issue, and make sure I still closed. He went above and beyond for me! The rest of the team at Humbert was just as helpful! Everyone took the time to answer my calls and questions. The team at Humbert patiently guided me through what could have been overwhelming process!

  We just wrapped up our home-buying process, and everyone at Humbert Mortgage was fantastic. Tim was so patient and answered our thousands of questions. He also went above and beyond to make sure we were involved and informed every step of the way, which was especially nice since home buying comes with a certain amount of anxiety. When Tim wasn’t available, the other members of the staff there were so helpful and generous with their time. We never felt like we were a nuisance or taking up too much of their time, even when I’m sure we were. Everyone there was on the same page and were able to answer any questions we had about where we were in the process. Their hard work, guidance, and quick work made it so that we were ready for our closing almost 3 weeks ahead of schedule. I can’t say enough good things about them, and we will use them in the future!

  I was referred by GE Credit union. I talked with Tim. He took all my personal information including my social security regarding a FHA streamline refinance. He said he would look in to it. After giving him my personal info that day I never heard back from him. I tried getting in contact with them a few times but they will not return my calls. Our conversation seemed very cordial. I'm not sure what kind of business they are actually running here.. the whole thing seemed incredibly fishy.

  Hands down the best home buying experience I've ever had. They were so patient with us, answering our questions, and going out of their way to make sure we understood everything. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a home!
