Keith Southerns1When I first moved to Sc I started with SCTelco as my bank. Had credit cards and car loans all paid on time and without issue. Left and eventually came because of their good service. Went through a tuff time and trying to get back on track with the IRS and my credit. I have a new charge off on my credit that reduced my score from 643 to 543 from Spero for $76. This is on an account that I closed. So I called today to see what it is and how to fix. Keep in mind I didn't have over draft protection either. But apparently the account was closed as I thought and since the company had my ACH info their allowed to withdrawal from a account I thought was closed. Overdraft protection or not apparently. So I asked if I pay the $76 will they remove the derogatory event from my credit. First I was told once I pay, it will automatically fall off. Which is not true. Once I pointed this out the lady told me the will not remove anything from my credit over $25. Very unethical company at best. Just so happens that can't see past a certain date now the account has been charged off. The other interesting part is I never received any information to be able to handle the issue before it came to this. So $76 has put me deeper in a financial whole. Do yourself a favor and bank with someone who has better ethics.

David Braghirol5Felicia Allen and Greg Sheppard have been truly amazing. Spero Financial has made getting our home mortgage and car loans extremely easy over the last year. I highly recommend speaking with Greg if you are in need of a mortgage and with Felicia about any car loans. Truly a great team and made the process enjoyable!!! Rates are absolutely amazing!!!!

JuJu StyRdy1Been a member for 4 years 2 auto loans and Credit card. All accounts were in good standing, I called for a credit increase. I would not recommend if you are trying to build credit with them. I have another card with another bank, shorter length of time and was offered an increase within the first year. THEY DO NOT TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION GOOD STANDING RAPPORT!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO BUILD CREDIT. Update: this is for SC Telco, Spero Financial, formerly SC Telco Federal Credit Union. After posting the review they closed the card I had with them and tried to say it was due to other reason when I was on time for a few years. Smh Talk about retaliation.

Ulanda Garvin1If I could rate a zero I most defintely would! I've been waiting on my car title for almost a year, everyone we've talked with at SC Telco has given us the run around. They are all blaming the next person! I had my vehicle financed through SC Telco, therefore, they are responsible for sending me my car title once the loan is paid off. Am I right?! Well here we are 9mths later, no title!!

Eisleen Restrepo1I had no issues with SC Telco until I had the unfortunate luck of dealing with Victoria Mendoza. All I wanted was to payoff my personal loan. She is by far the most unprofessional and rude associate I have ever dealt with. She could use a refresher course on member service, phone etiquette, and just basic manners learned in kindergarten. It baffles me how she still has a job. Someone with such disregard for members definitely hurts SC Telco's reputation.

Ason F1So I opened an account with them for the purpose of havimg 7-8 % of my weekly pay direct deposited there for "fun money" . So being that its not my main account I dont pay much attention to it. I just figured use the card when there is no cash in there it would decline. Nope evidently I was signed up for this nifty little thing called courtesy pay with out my knowlege. Long of the short is I now have close to 300 dollars worth of fees. I am currently stopping the direct deposits and movimg everything back to my main account, I am also pulling a loan against my 401k to get my bike loan away from them... I was planning on a mortgage through them within the year.. Thank god I didnt move on that sooner. Should have their fees payed, deposits stopped and the bike loan away from them by the end of the week then I can put them in the rearview.. On a side note customer service hear is whatever not rude just whatever, and slow. Id certainly check the other credit unions im town.

Kim Kolak1Worst bank in South Carolina. I've been a member for over 25 years. I have never been talked to by anyone as rudely and distastefully as I was today. Their local branch employees as well as the corporate office employees do NOT care about their customers.

Skyler Denison1Go somewhere else. I payed off vehicle loan and they took over two months to send me my car title after multiple phone calls. Tons of hidden fees. Amazing this place gets away with the stuff they do, legal robbery. To top it off Cindy is rude and has no respect.
