      The manager at this branch is what makes this location subpar. She always has an aggressive, unprofessional and dismissive demeanor. Severe lack of customer service and no sense of urgency to handle situations. This bank use to have high standards and a welcoming atmosphere, but Melanie has absolutly no couth. Sad. My entire family and I are thinking about going to another Credit Union, unless they up their standards again at this location.

      They do not have a good business practice. I had a pre-approval through them on an auto loan. After finding the vehicle I wanted to purchase through them they raised the pre-approval interest rate by 2 points. Terrence Gerst was my Service consultant and at no point did he mention this change, until the last second and flipped the switch. Will not be using this credit union anymore

      I was at the Credit Union for the first time since they changed from NRLFCU. It was on a Saturday, inside, and it was a tad bit slow but the customer service was so much better than it had been at NRLFCU for their last few years of business.

      Just visited this place to get a replacement debit card and the girl working in the inside just gave me the card and told me to call a number to activate it and here I am trying to make a purchase and I can't because the card isn't linked to any of my accounts, Thanks for nothing trash employee for sure, how do you work somewhere but don't know how to do their job ?

      I joined this credit union because it is closer to home and they have unique hours that works for me. They have okay services, it is a small CU. I have not been able to get anyone by phone for the past month and the Waldorf location do not have knowledgeable staff and cannot assist much. I learned more information from their website than from the employee who assisted me. She could have at least directed me instead of saying “I don’t know, we don’t do that at the branch”.

      Overall there a decent financial institution but their process are so slow. You would think in the year 2020 they would have a better way of processing payments. How is it my fault if I sent payment to you all on time but I’m receiving calls of delinquency as if I had not made my payments. Suggestion: accept electronic payments. It’s the year 2020. I’m pretty sure most people hardly mail checks anymore.

      I have had nothing but problems with this credit union in the past yea. My mom passed away last year and I took over her accounts. I called them numerous times to take care of one thing or another in settling her estate, and each time I called, they acted surprised that she passed away and asked for documents related, which I already brought to the location and had them scan documents several months prior. Recently, I assumed the mortgage on my mom's house that she had with NRLFCU and it was incredibly painful. They requested documents be signed very quickly, which I understand, but I don't understand why they would only email me OR my husband (who was also signing). It's just been a pain with everything that I have done with this CU. I suggest avoiding them.

      I had been a member since 1979 but there was one too many mistakes and long processing of loan applications that I closed my account and went to Navy Federal. It took NRL 2 weeks to approve a loan where Navy Federal approved me in 5 minutes and that was from a reactivated acct that was dormant for 20 yrs.

      Very slow service. Why don't they open their lobby on weekends, this the only time when WORKING PEOPLE are available to go to the bank.

The good news is that we're nearly done and anticipate reopening the lobby in the coming weeks. Once reopened, the lobby will return to it's normal service hours and be open 9am to 1pm on Saturdays.       I love this bank, never had a problem besides ONE! It’s quite frustrating that when you deposit money into your account from the atm (mainly after hours) it’s not in your account immediately. Very inconvenient!
