  I wanted to barrow $20,000 to pay the remaining balance on a house we bought that’s with the payment of $450,000. I was denied the loan because my debt to income was to high. I only have 1 credit card and that’s all. I just paid off a $123,000 on house I sold in Kansas. I’m a widow I built this house on my own. Never in my life time have I ever defaulted on a loan or ever been late with my payments or a mortgage payment. I have financed 2 brand new trucks, 1 RV. Monday morning I will be waiting at their front door step to close my accounts. Obviously they don’t need by business. Can’t get a mortgage for $20,000 so it had to be a personal loan. They wanted a co-signer never in my life has this ever been required.

  This is the worst credit union or financial institution I’ve ever dealt with. I opened a checking account with my husband before I started a new job last month and the direct deposit forms Space Coast Credit Union provided us had the WRONG CHECKING ACCOUNT NUMBER on them! My last biweekly paycheck dated 12/24/19 was deposited into someone else’s account before it got bounced back to ADP and now it’s been week without my paycheck and ADP says they still have not received the return. This is a screwup beyond belief by people we are supposed to be able to trust with our money. Not to mention the lack of member service the day we opened the checking account. They put us in a tiny room with a phone where we sat on hold for 20 minutes before opening a checking account with someone in a different branch or call center. We opened our account at the Daytona Beach - Bill France location. If you are looking into credit unions in the Volusia County area, go with VyStar and stay far away from Space Coast. What a nightmare during this holiday season this has been for me and my family.

  Of all the SCCU I've been to this is absolutely the worst. Idk about going into the bank as I've not done that so I can't comment there but the drive through is horrendous. No one there? Might as well still shut your car off and stop wasting gas. Not to mention they never ask you what you want. Withdraw? Here's the bills we thought you'd want. God I need to reopen my chase checking. All other branches I've been to thus far have been great. It's just unfortunate they are out of the way.

  This is my main branch. Id fend off a dozen barbarians for this bank, its that good. Every single issue ive ever had has been resolved promptly and in my favor. Its truly a good bank. Like not just this branch but spacecoast in general takes care of you. Im super picky about where i do business. I believe in the power of the dollar. These bankers will make sure your dollar is full powered and always there for you.

  i dunno you guys, airport bank friends are always super nice and do me a good job, even though sometimes it takes a while. have you perhaps consodered that this is one of the smallest and also busiest sccu branches in town, or that the drive through tellers are not exclusively servicing drive thru customers? perhaps they're short staffed, or a grandma is bringing in her loose pennies. calm down. a++ to this branch 🖕

  Every single teller has done there job to the best of there ability and have been very helpful. The reason i give a low score is because 70 percent of the time I try to do anything with them they are closed. Today for instance, its a Saturday, i had time to break away from work (as I topically can not) It is beyond frustrating that almost everytime i try to get something done the hours are less and less. How does anyone make a living?

  SCCU has terrible customer service! I applied for a HELOC and was told no problem it will be done in 3 weeks by Tom. Sarah Rockwell returns exactly NO phone calls or emails and it is 10 percent returns in the entire department. The kicker is that after 3 months I finally get through to her assistant and she tells me that my HELOC was automatically declined 3 weeks ago due to lack of documentation provided by me.... I can't even talk to them... but really not even an email to tell me that you did not approve me? Donna made it sound like this is standard operating procedure there and made sure that I knew that there were only a couple of underwriters and 465 current applicants so you that is how it is. Well if I had known before I could have applied with someone else, and if I knew 3 weeks ago I could have started that process 3 weeks ago. Oh well, as Donna suggested... just apply again. Are you kidding me.

  Put a 7 day hold on a cashiers check!! Deposited toward the end of the day so when I noticed I had to wait til next day. Called in and was told they could release a portion. Cashiers checks are same as cash, so ridiculous to put hold on any of it

  I have been a customer at this bank for over 4 years now and I must say this is the best bank I have ever had. Everyone is very helpful and is always super friendly.

  This particular location is my favorite branch customer service is excellent and they have went out of there way to be helpful and accomidating they are always super friendly and helpful so do not listen to the bad reviews i recomend that u go there and form ur own opinion i work in the customer service feild so great customer service is always appreciated...THANKS SPACE COAST !!!!
