Tried to open a business account 2.5 months ago. Sent in all my information including ssn's and personal information (something that I am uncomfortable with but it was a requirement from the bank). Haven't heard anything. Cullen Monaco has never reached out to us, no response to the multiple emails and phone calls. Disappointed that such a grand looking and professional acting bank could act so unprofessionally. We are a small business in a competitive market and only have so many banks that we can actually open an account with. I would have hoped that a local company (?) would support local companies. I would say do not bank here but apparently they won't even let you...

This place sucks... This bank is not for working class people its more like a commercial bank and the personal accounts have absolutely absurd fees. $.35 every time you use your debit card among other fees here and there and a hidden fee over there. The staff is lazy and not customer service oriented, this place wont last long here in Abq.

I rarely feel the need to leave bad reviews but you guys really need to figure out how to improve your online banking. It's down at least once a week, sometimes you can't log in at all and other times you can log in but there is a problem loading balances or transactions. What's the point? It's then down for hours. I know you can't expect things to work 100% of the time but I do not experience this kind of downtime with any other bank.

Very friendly tellers, however they just don't run a tight ship here. Within a few weeks of opening an account, they revamped their banking app and online interface, which essentially booted everyone off and you had to "re-enroll"... This wasn't intuitive or easy. They charge for little things and maintenance of the accounts...(most banks do) and if you need help (a duplicate statement or other things not handled by a teller), you will have to wait. And wait. And wait. To see a banker. Even if the place is deserted (which it is due to ART construction). That said, the waiting room is very nice, but who's got time for that? Not me. Moved over to U.S. Bank and the difference is night and day. Southwest Capital just isn't a convenient place to bank.

I love this bank. I live in the neighborhood, but our other, "bigger" bank was not too far away. The difference is that this place has some class. The lobby and grounds are very appealing. The drive-through is accessible and I feel safe using it. The folks in the lobby (tellers and desk people) are very helpful and friendly. I love the "small town, small bank" feeling. I want to put ALL of our money here. I wish these folks all the success. Thanks!

Worst Bank Ever. The commercial lending department is nothing more than people who make hard money loans and try to "loan to own." They tell you a rate and then loan docs come and then it's much higher they hope you default so they can take your property. Antoinette Fernandez has no knowledge of loans or customer services. She is very unprofessional. Don't use this bank.

The commercial lending department is incompetent and so was the staff we were dealing with on our loan. The Bankers and credit officer are completely lost and rip off artists. They pulled the bait and switch on our loan and changed everything. They have no idea how to be in the banking business. I would be very careful before you engage anything with them.

First Class. Professional, detailed, thorough. Independent local decision making factors in realistic situations from which lending is based. This bank cares, they are investing in small business loans other banks won't consider.
