  I have been working with MFA as a lender for 5 years. They have been a pleasure to work with. The MFA Programs allow first time buyers and repeat buyers to purchase a home with down payment assistance and this allows for borrowers to gain "The American Dream" of homeownership with assistance. I will continue to send my loans to MFA.

  I have been a lender in Albuquerque and the surrounding area for over 10-years. I have been able to utilize the MFA list or programs to help many of my clients with down-payment assistance, whether they are first time homebuyers or purchasing again.   I have worked with the folks at MFA for over 10 years as a lender. They are knowledgeable, and very courteous. It is because of MFA's program that many, many first time buyers are able to purchase homes with low down payments. They can't be blamed for a loan officer not doing their job. They have a set process and when that process is used the loans close seamlessly. I have closed many MFA loans and have no problems with any part of their loan process. It's a great program and it helps not only individual buyers but the community as well.

  As a mortgage lender who has been in the business a little over 7 years, MFA's down payment assistance program has always been extremely helpful and the Homeownership Dept. is very customer-service friendly! Mortgage loans don't always go as planned for many different unforeseen reasons but MFA has always taken the time to answer questions and help us mortgage folks plan accordingly and set more appropriate expectations. They are also extremely fair and review loans in a way that doesn't play favorites - this is the way it SHOULD be done! Thank you MFA for all that you do to help the people of New Mexico achieve homeownership, it's not an easy job but they do it with grace and professionalism every time I interact with them! 5 stars all the way!
