  Fantastic bank for being completely ignored. I have been with SouthStar a few months and only because they bought the bank I was with for years. I’ve had an issue with a loan extension since Christmas 2021 that still hasn’t been resolved and not even the bank president will return my calls. After being reassured by the Kerrville branch manager that it was taken care of and it was not. I’ve steadily worked my way up the chain of command in order to get answers and no one will return a call. 4 different people I’ve spoken to all the way up to the President of the bank that’s at this location. No resolution. No returned calls from the messages I’ve left. I’m in the process of moving my business elsewhere.

  I am old and fumbling around helplessly with the possword/passcode change thing. But then angels happened. Maryella not only stuck with me late on a Friday, but volunteered to make a personal call to me on Monday to finish setting me up. I can't remember every getting this kind of caring and service. Impossible to ever forget this.

  The one and only bank I have ever had a bank/checking account with since I was a teenager. Would not change as I have always had a great experience with South Star Bank in Moulton, Tx!
