  I have worked with the staff of the Southside Main Branch and find them all very professional and attentive to good customer service. I also have experience working with them as a community partner. They are a public company but are locally involved in every capacity. I believe Southside is instrumental in making our Tyler area the community where people want to live. Thanks Southside!

  Poor customer service. I attended the motor bank 10/2/20 at 9:45AM. The teller in the 1st stall, on the left of the commercial lane was not welcoming. I was not greeted, ask if I need any additional help or if I had questions. She didn't mention to have a nice day. If you're having a bad day, don't show up to work. Retraining is needed. But, a replacement is highly recommended.

  I recently opened a new account here and deposited a check in that account. the checked cleared so I transferred the money around into a couple different accounts. a few days later they deposited the same check again without me knowing. they then charged it back and left my account with -2,000.00$ in it. Now since this company doesn't have 24/7 customer service and I found out about this after they had closed I couldn't talk to anyone. So I tried to transfer some money in that account cover it so I don't get a overdraft until I can finally talk to someone about it. Well now it wont let me take any money out of that account. So according to this bank I am out 4,000.00$ and I cant talk to any customer service rep. This issue is the banks fault and I cant anyone to help me.

  Southside Bank always has the nicest staff and they do so much for our community. I appreciate their dedication to customer service and all they provide to East Texas!

  I love their schedule but that's it. Last time a used the ATM to withdraw a $100 it only hand it me $60 but it deducted $100 from my account.. I complained and put a dispute but that didn't do anything for case since I was treated a dishonest person who was trying to take advantage of "this polite and professional bank". No, not really...this bank is like the IRS, you are wrong until prove you're right and they know for $40...I'll be wasting my time.

  Worst commercial bank in Texas. Business owners, don't waste your time. I ran $32,000,000 through the Grapevine branch and their commercial lender won't give me the time of day! Try First Financial instead.

  RUDE, DISMISSIVE, ILL-INFORMED. These are the qualities from this little country bank. I called in for assistance and instead of getting the correct information about my situation, the representative was RUDE and DID NOT apologize for the lousy customer service she offered. I called back to speak to a different CS representative and before I could complete my understanding of her statement, she hung up the phone. DO NOT BANK HERE.

  Trust department is a joke! It's been 8 months they still have not closed out my Grandparents account. I guess they will pay themselves to look over it as long as they can....

  ENRON HAD MORE MORALS My mother had problems before, she passed away, I took up the payments on the mortgage and the lien on the car. First, a year ago, they tacked on the entire balance of 700 plus dollars from an account that I shared with my ex husband. FROM TEN YEARS PRIOR, and told me if I didn't pay it, They would forclose. They did that again this year, but I had the damned receipt, however, they sent another "we are going to forclose" letter to the attorney I hired to probate my mom's estate. He withdrew, KEEPING MY RETAINER ! So, I have that to thank them for. This week, December of 2013, after every time, I was late, every time, I missed a payment and the phone rang, and rang,, and rang,, and I confirmed over and over that "yes, I was paying the balance on the first of the month" THE CAR IS PAID OFF IN NOVEMBER,,, ok,, SO NOW, they tell me I owe $477.52 ,, because some payments were missed. EVERYTIME I ASKED HOW MUCH DO I OWE WHEN I PAID ! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE ! I HOPE TO SHUT THEM DOWN AND GET THEM ARRESTED ! THEY ARE THE BANKERS VERSION OF ENRON !
