  Just delt with the manager a male Asian at the Los Alamitos location. He is angry person. He got angry at me for looking at him while the new teller and another female were going very slow. As I looked at the manager, he asked me if I have a problem. I said, I'm enjoying this. Then when I still looked at him, he came over and said, I can go to my own bank and that I needed to clam down. I said you clam down, you came over here to escalate this, then I told him to shut up and give me back my card and check. Unprofessional coward.

  Questionable customer service as a central office, I regret returning as a customer. Maybe the Downey branch is just better?

  Wonderful experience! The tellers are friendly & helpful. I never waited more than 5 minutes at the Los Alamitos branch. I got a personal loan, & it was approved within 24 hrs. Love this credit union. It is the best place I have ever done banking. Everyone is extremely nice and accommodating! I highly recommend Southland Credit Union.

  It's a rather unreliable credit union. I will switch accounts soon to a new place, as they charge for simple asks, not to mention they canceled my debit card due to suspected fraud and never notified or sent me a new card until I called them!

  We always had Chase. We still have them just because they are very accessible. But with all major business transactions such as separate car loans for me and my husband, we chose Southland. Los Alamitos branch has amazing people. Phong, has been taking good care of us. He made it easy for me to understand the process and gave us the best plans that suit our budgets and lifestyle.

  There are very few times that I can recall in my 52 years of life that purchasing a new car would be a fun overall experience. Unfortunately in the past when purchasing a new car it always seemed to be a very daunting and exhausting ordeal, too many hours in the dealership as well as the the need for extreme patience when dealing with multiple people to conduct the deal. Autoland auto buying service, specifically Christine, has been nothing more than exquisitely pleasing, they are fantastic she has done a fabulous job ensuring that I did not have to suffer the grueling hours and stress of having to deal with the multiple people at the dealership and my whole new car buying experience was in just a few minutes over an hour from start to finish. My appointment with Christine and Autoland was a great experience, I'll never buy a car again at a dealership without Christine and Autoland car buying service. Thanks again for a great job.

  What kind P.O.S. credit union still automatically takes your money when you’re insurance AND GAP pays them out. On top of that they show no care for the client and did not even drop the amount that they said I owed, even AFTER they took the money?!? Never using them again.

  Ditched my bank for Southland CU about 6 months ago. Best decision I’ve ever made. People like Erick M, Harut, and Phong make the place a great experience while providing great customer service. If you’re considering switching I highly recommend SCU. Thank you guys.
