  First of all the vibe is sow negative coming form the clerks, I have spoken to Donna the branch manager , yet the the clerks seem to want to do what ever they feel it’s wright to do , for instance tapping on my savings account , when my checking and prime account are the only ones to be touched , I had to speak with Donna , yust sow that I was able to apologize for being such a difficult customer, again DIFICULT CUSTOMER!!! Wow!!!! I Don’t get it pandemic is taking a toll any every one ?

  I called the southland call center to get the Carson branch phone number and the representative who's name is Bertha told me she doesn't have the Carson branch number. Bertha put me on hold for more than 25 minutes. All I wanted was the phone number. Bertha didn't want to give it to me. Seemed like it was a secret? Bertha was very rude and inconsiderate. it always seemed Like she only wanted me to talk to her and give her .y personal information. I don't know Bertha and I'm not gonna give my business information to her. My business is personal and only the branch you do business with you only trust. If anyone reading my review make sure you think again. If you are planning to do business with southland, think again. I don't think it's a credit union fit for real people that only want simple answers and simple questions answered. They should cater to you not southland we make them stay open. Fire or retrain Bertha. We don't need people like her giving us a hard time at this time of crisis.

Our branches do not have main line phone numbers, so the Associate you spoke to was unable to transfer you to the Carson branch. Our Contact Center is staffed by highly knowledgeable Southland Credit Union Associates who serve Members from all Southland branches.

  I’m soooooooo so disappointed. I was on my way to see my sick mother in law who is on her last breaths. I stopped to get gas only to find out that my debit card had been blocked. I called customer service and was hung up on twice. I went in and was told I had to go to membership services, I had 7 people in front of me. I HAD TO WAIT AT THIS DAMN PLACE FOR AN HOUR !!! only for them to tell me they don’t know why my card was blocked but they could get me a new one. Wasted so much of my day and time I could have spent with family. I was with harbor credit union before these people and never had this issue or any other. I guess that’s what happens when u merge with bigger companies. The don’t care. I wish we could get harbor back

  This is the best credit union Ive ever had. Ive been a member for 5 years and they have done more for me in 5 yrs than the Credit Union Ive belonged to for the past 28 years have ever done. Harbor Federal Credit Union is the best. Not to mention the awesome staff is AMAZING! !!!!

  I’ve been with HEFCU now Southland Credit Union for over 25 years. Great service. Friendly helpful people. No ATM fees. No checking fees. Don’t bank with the greedy banks.

  Worst banking/credit institution around. Do not open an account here. I deposited a check at the atm and it didn't go through but also didn't return my check and the teller said "we don't own the atm machine" . Mam, it says Southland on the atm therefore this institution is responsible .

  Bank with Wescom and only have access to their ATMs... maybe in the future but I've been inside a few times and never been offered to join.

  Today I find out I been withdrawn $66 due to a misleading online purchase and was credited back the amount, I find out today they took back the $66 cause there was investigation? No one warned me not called me and plus ur taking money away from me during the COVID???????????
