  Our experience with Southern Trust Mortgage was primarily through Brad Shoemaker. Mr. Shoemaker was extremely knowledgeable, quickly answered any questions we had throughout the entire process, from pre-approval through closing, always responded to calls or emails promptly, and we really feel he went out of his way to make our experience as smooth and simple as possible while also giving us the best options possible.

  First home buyer! VA loan! VHDA! I heard about Southern Mortgage Trust from my realtor (Henry Cobb). At the time I had two to three other Lenders I had my eye on. Brad Shoemaker, my loan officer was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and recommended me to apply for VHDA, which really helped me out. Even took time to meet me and explain things in person on a Sunday. My home process took about 6 months. I waited for a new construction home in an area I really like. Brad was very patient and professional through out the whole process. I want to thank Brad and Jim Martin for getting me a awesome deal and for making my home buying process go real smooth. Thank you you guys so much!

  Southern Trust Mortgage was really helpful in helping me buy my dream house. I would specifically like to thank Brian for the amazing response he gave me. He was very responsive and they helped me close a little earlier than signed. Christy was excellent with all the paperwork. Even though many lenders told us that we needed a high down payment Southern Trust helped us all the way through with the down payment we had.
