  We recently used Southern Oaks Mortgage to refinance our rental condo. Jeff and Cindy are, as always, the best at getting us the best rates and making the process easy as can be. We all know refinancing a mortgage isn't always the smoothest process, with all the hoops that the lenders make you jump through, but Jeff and Cindy make it easy on their customers. They are the epitome of professionalism, experience, expertise and effort and they always put their customers interests ahead of their own. They have my full confidence and I'd recommend them to anybody, and I already have.

  This is our second time using Southern Oaks Mortgage for our home loan. I have nothing, but good things to say about Jeff. He makes you feel like family and genuinely wants the best for his clients. Jeff is on top of things and will get you what you want and need. What we like the most about Jeff, is that he will teach you along the way. He explains everything and shows you different options for you to decide. He is very thorough. As long as we live in Santa Clarita, we will continue to use his services. I 100% recommend him.

  Can I just say...Jeff and Cindy at Southern Oaks Mortgage are such consummate professionals at what they do. Our refinance was so smooth and effortless because of them. Always available, they made the process trouble free, with a fantastic rate, lower payments, and a cash out...all within a very timely manner. Uploading all the documents was so easy with the system they have in place. It was all done without ever having to leave home. Extremely happy with the services of Jeff and Southern Oaks Mortgage.

  Jeff is the best. I have used Jeff for the last 4 re-finances. His service hasn't changed. Jeff explained everything to my wife and myself and walked us through the form filling out process. This was a no stress re-finance. Jeff called and texted me on all updates and responded to my text promptly. Cindy who works the front office was also a pleasure to work with. For service, knowledge and reliability, you can't beat Southern Oaks Mortgage.

  I would highly recommend using Southern Oaks Mortgage for anyone who is looking to refinance or get a home loan. I have worked with Jeff and Cindy on two loans and they are both very knowledgeable and professional. Before even purchasing our home, Jeff was the first person we called. He took his time and was patient with us in letting us know what we'd qualify for and what the best loans and rates were. He was always readily available to answer our questions and to address any concerns we may have had. He took the time to explain the entire process to us step by step. He also emailed us short videos and articles that explained the process and steps involved in the home loan process. Southern Oaks Mortgage had great communication with our realtor to help make the transaction a smooth one.   We met Jeff personally first, then found out later he was a loan broker and realtor. I was hesitant to do business with a friend but decided to give him and Cindy at Southern Oaks Mortgage a try. I was so happy I did. I priced my loan with five other banks and credit unions. This wasn’t my first refi and I knew I had great credit; it was literally going to be about the best deal. I then brought my best offer to Jeff and I didn’t think he would be able to touch it. Jeff was easily able to beat the best offer I found. The rate was much better, the closing costs were lower and the personal service between Jeff and Cindy are unmatched. I was dealing with my  previous mortgage holder about refinancing and I kept getting someone different to talk to, it was never the same person, not with Jeff and Cindy. Jeff truly does care about each of his customers.  Everyone Jeff had us come in contact with, from the appraiser to the escrow officer couldn’t be more professional or friendlier and their pricing was lower than the costs I had seen with the bigger banks. Our loan is closed, we have auto payment set up and no more worries. If I ever refi or need another mortgage, Jeff at Southern Oaks Mortgage is my first call.

Everyone is different, some easier than others, some quite complex. Because of Southern Oak's extensive experience and strong connections with top lenders, Jeff is able to cut through the clutter, figure out the best loans available for each client, and then work the underwriters and lenders to get the loans approved and funded.
