  Fraud handling procedures are brutal. Customer’s account was suspended without any access to existing or future deposits until their fraud department could investigate. Newly deposited funds were held for over 14 days. Caused extreme hardship for Individual who was scammed and offered no assistance.

  I am not current a member of Sound but when I needed a notary, Kristina @ the Bonney Lake Sound branch let me know that they would do a free notary for me just for being a part of the shared branching network. Above & beyond customer service! Thank you!

  I have been with sound credit union for close to 10 years. The employees at the Bonney Lake branch are the best. They always smile and laugh. It is almost like dealing with family members.

  Brand new client, opened two business accounts. All Sound Credit Union staff were/are very helpful, courteous, and responsive, especially Cheryl Reaves. I really appreciate the help I've received and encourage others to check them out. You won't be disappointed.

  This bank is wonderful. The institution has issues. Tonight I received my tax returns. I paid a few bills online and then wanted to do some personal shopping. My first stop I had to call the fraud department because I paid a bill. I then went grocery shopping and was declined. I called the fraud department again and was cleared (automated system). I was then declined at checkout. I went to the BECU atm at Safeway and the ATM kept my card when I tried to get cash to pay for my groceries. Needless to say when you cannot feed your family and your left with a giant cart of groceries in front of a line of people it is not only embarrassing but makes you think about your banking institution as a whole that does not have 24 hour customer service and shuts down your ability to spend your money when your in need of common things such as toilet paper. It is not fair to the consumer that there is no immediate remedy when this happens. Take into consideration if there were an emergency and I needed to pay a medical co-pay after a day of shopping or if there were a family emergency that required immediate travel. This is a disgrace to any consumer and this needs to be nullified by the institution.

  My husband and I wanted to find a local bank with no international ties and we were referred by a friend to Sound. We met with them and felt immediately at home there. So kind and helpful.

  After having an issue with the bank. I did receive a call from Sound Credit Union and worked with the representative to reach a positive outcome. I do hope that our business/lender relationship will become stronger now. Just goes to show that local banks do care and positive outcomes can came from bad experiences.   The folks at the Bonney Lake branch go above and beyond making sure customers are taken care of at all times, Patty and Ashley along with the rest of the ladies are absolutely awesome. If anybody is looking for a credit union go see them you will not be disappointed.
