      I’ve never experienced banking like I have with this branch. I’m in the middle of running a small business and purchasing my first home, working full time and a home with 5 children. This bank has made all of this simple. I can walk in anytime and expect fast and friendly service with or without kids in tow. I refinanced my vehicle here and plan to do all my loans and banking here. They have made everything money related simple in a time of craziness in the world.       Sooper CU, it is 11/1/2021. Why are you still trying to pull payments of $650 per month for my car loan that was paid off in July. I refinanced this car loan with Blue FCU on 7/1/2021. Not only did I refinance the loan but I closed account with Sooper because of your extremely poor customer service. Back then, the Branch Manager at Arvada refused to acknowledge that the external money transfer payment problems might be within your system. The overall attitude was "your problem, not ours". Because Sooper was unable to pull payments using their external transfer system (not due to lack of funds on my end), Sooper started taking $650 payments from various savings accounts I had at Sooper. This screwed things up for me because those savings accounts were allocated for other financial business plans. I closed my account, refinanced this loan with another credit union, so stop trying to take my money. I pulled a current statement and see Sooper is still trying to pull $650/month payment, then fix it with a credit. POINT is, you should not be doing this anyway because THIS LOAN HAS BEEN PAID IN FULL—SINCE JULY!! So FIX THE YOUR INTERNAL SYSTEM PROBLEMS!! I want nothing more to do with your credit union. Reason I am posting another review is because it is near impossible to reach anyone by phone and can't deal condescending attitude of your staff. I would rather deal with upper management instead of anyone at Sooper CU Arvada.

      Beware, they have falsely reported late payments on my loan twice (verifiable). The first time, they held onto my payment for over a week, they received it July 23, didn't process it until August 2 (verifiable), so they didn't process it until after 30 days past due date. The lending director refused to accept responsibility, and the negative impact remained. Now, the next month, my loan was even just paid off this week before 30 days past due date, and they just reported it 30 days late again when it wouldn't be 30 days until August 29th (today is August 26th, it was paid off August 24th, also verifiable). Yet, low and behold, another 30 day late ding on my credit.

      Reply to Sooper: Thank you for taking the time to reply to my concern. I have taken care of my check and transactions with my credit union of Denver, but I appreciate your reply. walked in today to the Arvada Sooper CU and there was one teller, she was helping a customer with his pin. I completely got ignored by everyone passing back forth to offices. I waited quilt awhile. I got completely ignored. So I walked out without cashing a check I will try another credit union tomorrow.

      *edit* was contacted by the managment to appologize fir my experience and asked to help them know how they could better serve their customers, no push for a retraction, no asking to make it right, they just genuinely wanted to be able to serve the customers better, that’s the kind of experience and made me want to come to Sooper credit Union in the first place, I’m impressed and will probably end up opening account here to receive that kind of customer care and future. Despite being rated highly amongst credit unions through online metrics I collected, the staff at the bank was difficult to deal with. I had to return several times to attempt to open an account, the latest I was condescendingly spoken to, asked to return another day and make an appointment instead, this despite the initial customer service rep having told me there would be time to complete my business before their branch closing time.

      I am a disabled veteran who took out a loan for a dirt bike with this credit union. Never missed a payment, never late. Got the bike paid off, and suddenly there's a charge for "Forced Insurance" which incredibly was more than a bike payment. The bike had to be insured the day of the sale in order to qualify for the loan with sooper credit union. Yet a few months later, they installed their insurance on top of mine, and charged me. To all fellow Vets, take your money elsewhere.

      Very rude, they are not member service oriented. Don’t follow laws, nor care about their members. Had a credit account with them, asked for Covid relief just to have them at the last covid month lock my account and refused to let us pay on it and sent us straight to collections with no correspondence or contact. I had to send emails every day to finally have their rude manager be disrespectful and hostile toward me. Now they refuse to even provide documentation of the account. Believe me, if I was trying to avoid them and not pay my account, I wouldn’t be making a big deal about this.

      Loan officers at Arvada Location are not professional and not well trained to handle loans. One of the worst loan experiences I have dealt with. We were given a Interest rate for a loan we were approved for and when it was time to close up the deal the interest rate changed from a 7% to a 10.5%. All we were told is they made a mistake. The loan officer we were dealing with didn’t answer his phone often or return calls. Jessy Olson delayed responses to my emails were very frustrating. It took him one or 2 days later to get a response.The whole experience was just horrible!!! I was so disappointed in their customer service I had to close my account there.

      Me and my family usually always go in to the Arvada branch and we usually get Jordan every now and then we get someone else but she is very understanding we all walk up to here together and she helps us all out individually and manages to get it done quickly and professionally. She always had a positive attitude! Definitely would recommend this bank to anyone!!
