  Worst bank I have ever experienced. Took $500 for literally no reason, claimed we had to file a dispute to get it resolved. For something that was THEIR fault. Refused to let me do the dispute through the drive through (I have a newborn and 2 year old) most places are accommodating to stuff like that. So I guess we’re supposed to just kiss $500 away because of this sorry excuse of a bank. Oh and the people you deal with there are absolutely terrible. I will never recommend this so called bank.

  This is a temporary rating I hope. My last rating was 5 stars and I hope to change it back soon. This place is clean and friendly which I love but the bank, not staff, changes it to where you get charged $3 to transfer money over the phone from one account to another, your own account....during a pandemic!! Started nov 1st. This is shady. I was already unhappy when I was charged over $200 with one mistake and after I asked them to take me off the fee option and I see now it wasn't done and I asked why they said my other account had too little in it. I still dont understand that or how it got to $200 so fast with $35 fees and i guess interest. I thought about moving banks then but I had such a good opening experience and wanted to give another chance. Now they are doing a $3 fee to transfer your own money to your own account over the phone during a pandemic, I'm not happy with this, they are okay with me coming in and chancing mine and everyone's safety to milk the poor??? I have a new born and very rarely get out right now. Unless things change I will be looking for another bank. I still love the employees and will miss them.

  If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Terrible bank. Slow with deposits and the mobile banking is a nightmare and is NEVER up to date. It’s 2020 and I still have to balance a bank book because this place can’t be bothered to update appropriately and half the time the app and online services aren’t working. They also charge overdraft fees repeatedly for the same charge that they will deny just so they can charge you a fee 5x for the same item. I absolutely HATE SmartBank. Also Susan Hayley is rude and unprofessional and all around a miserable human. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

  For some reason, I’m having trouble posting this verified review. Dealing with the Branch Manager of Sales at Tullahoma branch was a difficult experience. A simple paperwork issue turned into a six week fiasco. I went over her head to the legal Dept and got all done in 48 hrs. I have since closed all accts and when CD’s mature, will transfer them to my local bank. Poor service, poorer communication ending in rudeness. C. Hudspeth. It's now been a 1 month. Smart Bank responded that they would contact me. I replied " I doubt it" . You are correct, They didn't. But I did close all accounts and dealt with a great team at Smart Bank Destin. It just shows what good management can do, something Smart bank Tullahoma does NOT have......... C Hudspeth

  Usually no line. 2-4 drive thru windows open, ATM next to drive thru in back. Also access to N. Atlantic Street in back. Very friendly.
