  This use to be the best place to bank. It's now the sorriest bank I know. There updated app is junk. They could care less about customers and the money in the account fluctuates up and down even when I don't use my card. I'll be returning back to coffee county bank this week and closing our account with ascend

  Paid off 8k on my credit card and had auto payments coming from my bank every month that I wasn't able to stop in time and they got an extra $60 payment. They held back $11 and charged me as being late on my credit report for 2 months and can't tell me where the additional $60 went. They ruined my perfect credit costing me a home. I had been a good customer for over 8 yrs and had 20k in a savings account. They DO NOT care about their customers.

  Been with this bank for over 4 years. Never missed a payment on my auto loan or anything. They've continually denied my ability to get a refinancing loan for a credit card although I make more than enough to cover it. Instead of straight denying me they did not feel the need to contact me about the status. After the last bit is paid on my auto loan I will be taking my business elsewhere. Looking to get a mortgage loan and a loan for a bike after my credit card is paid off and credit is back in check. Already found a much better bank that approved my loan without even holding an account. I would recommend to anyone to take your business elsewhere.

  Not happy with change of hours for inside service. Doesn't make it convenient for working folks, can't do everything at the customer less things outside. Also was told they are going cashless. What is a bank for if you can't get cash or put it in your account. Will be finding another bank.

While lobby hours are slightly shorter, we do offer expanded 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., Monday - Saturday teller service in the drive-up. Also, there are no plans for Ascend to go cashless.   Was told I had a loan, then told I didn't have it, then was offered a predatory loan. I declined after a year of working with their loan officers. I eventually went with Quicken loan and couldnt be happier with the extra 25k buying power and 90k less payoff. Don't look for a loan here. Complete Joke

  Had fraud charges show up on our account and Alejandra(sp?) was so helpful and kind! Got our paperwork done and new cards issued too! Thank you!!!

  I just want everyone to know this is the most rude, obnoxious, good for nothing group of people i have ever had to deal with.i highly suggest for anyone to look for another bank/credit union. They have no hometown values. Care for nothing nor no one. Im closing my account and ill go to a check cashing business before wasting my gas in their long ass lines.

  They steal from you and try to justify it by saying it's a back rule. Been with them more than 21 years and told I could not borrow more than 500. That is messed up.

  Dishonest and hard to deal with. Try to get them on the phone to solve an issue and it takes 20 minutes, put your hard earned money somewhere you can pick up the phone and get someone, not an automated machine that takes a real person 20+ minutes to talk with.

  My father had his skiing with Ascend long before it was Ascend...his account # was 305, that should tell you how long ago that was. He opened me an account when I was in high school, 30+ years and the partnership has been wonderful!!!! I will keep this account as long as the building stands and I wouldn't trade the service for any other!!!!!!
