  What an amazing experience! Everyone there is so helpful, all the staff is amazing. It was my first boat purchase so they were very patient with me and helped pick my first boat with no pressure. They never got annoyed for coming 3 different times to look at the boat lol. Also met Dick, the owner, he’s a wonderful guy also very friendly and was always looking out for my best interest. Definitely recommend this place to anyone look to buy a boat. You don’t just buy a boat there you join a family!

  Dick Simon personally went beyond my expectations when I bought my first motor boat. He is pleasant and competent, but also when I wanted to get the title and bill of sale done immediately after arranging payment, he made it happen. I left the next day in my boat. Also his team helped with me registration questions; and his team member Rick offered to motor with me to my new slip 100 miles away! Rick was a genius at navigating in the fog with the Simrad, and an all around "boat person" who has a wealth of knowledge about boating. His boating skills made my journey safe and pleasant.

  Dick Simon has remarkable service. They worked hard to find us the boat that fit our family needs. They helped us get the best loan possible, and found us a surveyor within a day of deciding we wanted the boat. It has a been a very enjoyable boat buying experience. We are so excited to be off on our sailing adventures!

  I recently bought a boat that was located in Huntington Beach and Dick Simon went out of his way to ensure that I got the best deal possible as well as gave quite a bit of assistance to me as a new boat owner. Dick took no less than 3 trips to Huntington Beach with me to first look at the boat and then to do a sea trial and the survey which took a full day to accomplish and then helped me take the boat to the shipyard to be hauled out and have the bottom painted. Everybody in the office is extremely helpful from Dick Simon, Kathy who runs the office as well as everybody in the office. I can't say enough nice things about my experience with Dick Simon Yachts!!

  Very positive experience dealing with Mark and Dick Simon Yachts listing our boat for sale. I bought the same boat through Mark a few years ago and was also a positive experience. Once we were priced right on the sale of our boat, we received a lot of interest. Mark fielded the many calls and qualified the prospects to see who was real and who was just bottom fishing for a low price. In the end, the boat went to the right buyer at the right price. This was important to us as this particular boat was really intended for fresh water and it was in pristine condition. Several of our friends in the harbor have used Mark to buy and sell their boats over the last decade. All of us highly recommend Mark for either side of the transaction as he goes above and beyond.

  I had the chance and was both buyer and seller with a number southern California brokers in the past. I have found that Dick Simon's office excercises a level of service and expedience that far exceeded my expectations and was superior to all other brokerages I have had contact with . I trust that they are both the "Go To" company for any listing or purchase, so much so that I am actively involved with his office today.

  Awful experience. We set an appointment to see the vessel we wanted, met with Mark in Dana Point and we also got to meet the owner of the boat. We agreed upon a price a few days later, and the contract was getting written up. Wife, Son and I were very excited and we secured a spot and paid a deposit plus first month for the HOA boat storage spot where we live while our slip in Dana Point Harbor comes up. The next day, Mark tells me, "sorry, we've accepted a higher offer, the boat is no longer yours". WHAT? How unprofessional & greedy can you possible be? When we saw the boat I offered to put a deposit down to hold it, these guys said not to worry that if someone else came along in the next few days that they'd let us know. We've made a vow to let everyone in Dana Point know to stay away from Mark and his greedy tactics...he should be ashamed of himself.

I was so HAPPY that they took the time to find the boat I was looking for and that I wasn't just another weekend shopper to them !!!   Great team of salesmen... They've helped hundreds of clients sell their boats at the best prices. They're well-known in the Dana Point and Long Beach harbors, and have a long history of yachting experience! Great team, great leader, nice people to deal with
