  I have been a member of the Credit Union for over 41 years and I do not understand the negative reviews. I have never I mean been declined of any request that I have requested. I have been to other financial institutions in the area just because it was more convenient at the time. They asked me to open an account.. They can't offer the benefits and most of the great service. You do not have to fill out a deposit slip. Everyone is very nice and always meet you with a friendly smile. I deal with the branch on Springs Rd. They are so nice I know them by name and they speak to me even if they are not the one assassinating me with my transaction. Both of my children, grandchildren have accounts there and of my grands are as young as 5 yrs old. Hats off to Shuford Federal Credit Union and their staff. I will never go anywhere else.

  I have been with shuford credit union for a while now and I deal with the granite falls branch. I can tell you that Brenda and Rachel are two of the nicest ladies you will ever meet. They are very professional and are always ready to take care of there customers. I would have to say that shuford credit union has always been there for me. I would highly recommend shuford credit union for all your financial needs. Thanks to all the staff for being there when I needed them. David kelley

  Shuford Credit Union has by far the nastiest customer service I’ve ever heard from a bank. If the disgusting behavior won’t scare you away maybe the hidden fees, last minute account changes, and even account closure without ever giving notice. The Federal Reserve and Better Business Bureau will definitely be getting some messages about this bank.

  This is the absolute worst bank I've ever had the mistake of opening an account with. I've had my account for a little more than a year and I'm looking into banking somewhere else. Their ATM (On Springs Rd.) is THE ABSOLUTE SLOWEST in all of Hickory, they cancelled my debit card once because I didn't use it for just a few weeks and then I had to wait for a new one, and today is the second time their whole systems have gone down in as many weeks. I cannot do anything at all with my account when this happens. I can't make deposits, purchases, automatic drafts won't work, nothing. It's absolutely ridiculous to drive up to the teller not knowing if the bank is operating at all and not knowing if I'll even be able to use my account that day. Unless you want consistent frustration and hassle, DO NOT BANK HERE!

  I have banked with Shuford for the better part of 19 years. Not one complaint, they are very personable and some of the ladies have been there for years. Mrs Belva is one of the kindest ladies Ive ever had the pleasure of banking with.

  I have been with this bank for 35 years and very satisfied with all the services there and the ladies that work and the Hickory bank are very pleasant and helpful

  This is the worst banking experience I have ever had. For the most part the staff is plesent to work with but the management staff leaves a lot to be desired. Part of their mission statement is "without our customers we would cease to exist". What a crock of b.s.! If you don't fit into their standards, then they will not allow you to bank with them.

  I been with this bank for 16 years and I love this place. Financed multiple cars through here and the staff are very nice if you don’t have a bank or your searching, search no more!

  I don’t understand the negative reviews, yes the atm at the springs rd location is super slow but that’s about the only complaint I can think of. Everyone is really nice, and helpful.

  I AM A MEMBER OF SECU AS WELL AS TELCO COMMUNITY GREDIT UNION. I WAS INTRODUCED TO SHUFORD CREDIT UNION THROUGH A FRIEND. I WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THE KINDNESS AND ATTENTION TO WHAT I WAS TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH, AND THE EXTENT OF EFFORT PUT FORTH INTO TAKING CARE OF ME. A+++
