  Update: 11/06/2021 I went again to this place to withdraw some money and they are still experiencing the same issue at this location. Why is one person handling the front teller area and the drive thru at the same time. This makes the process too slow here at this branch. They need more training and extra staff. My experience here to get service is horrible....I was in line outside on drive through service and it was taking too long. I decided to go inside. I notice many employees here but how many does it take to handle one customer? I was literally 2nd person on line while 6 other employee doing who knows what behind the counter. Total wait was about 45 minutes during the whole time there. I wouldn't recommend coming here for service and the atm is down too to top it off. I called Corp. Office at Deer Park to address that this location needs some sort of training to serve customers at a better pace but they couldnt get a hold of a manger on duty and stated they would return call.....waiting ...waiting no callback has been received yet from them. Thanking about reconsidering another bank account instead of this company if they dont value there customers. I really would give this location 0-Stars if I could. I am not the only with negative feedback look at others review. Something needs to be done at this place. Please like, follow, and share for more #JaysTrueRatings

  This location sucks !!! The atm is always broken and the drive thru lines take forever ! Be prepared to wait 30 minutes just to make a deposit or withdraw money! How hard can it be when they have money readers that do the job for them 🤬

  ***Don't bank at this location *** I love Shell Credit Union. But i hate this location. I just moved to this area and was thrilled to see one in the area. I've dealt with the LaPorte, Deer Park, Pasadena and the new Baytown locations. Awesome people. I deposit a $4000 check here? These freaking people here are no good. I got lied to my face twice. Had me soo mad i was ready to withdraw my money and boycott this place. ****Avoid this location****

  I stopped by to close my accounts and the employees refused. Denise and Moises looked me in the face and informed me that it wasn’t possible. I asked for the branch manager and they gave me a relationship manager. I asked again for the branch manager and got the deer stuck in a headlight look. I don’t recommend this location to anyone.

  I’ve been with Shell Federal for about five years now. It’s been a decent financial institution but we’ve had a few issues: 1) The drive thru lines are often horrendous. Wait times over 30 minutes. They understaff the drive thru with only one or two employees working the window, taking forever with each transaction. 2) They seem to ignore some of the drive thru lanes while favoring others, so if you get into the wrong lane your wait time may be double than they of the other lanes. 3) There’s rarely deposit slips in the outdoor boxes which compounds the wait time even more. 4) Employees sometimes don’t respond to issues. We got locked out of one of our accounts due to some strange glitch requiring two user accounts to be merged. After spending an hour on the phone they finally said we had to go into a branch to resolve the issue. After checking in at the branch and waiting another hour, the worker was unable to resolve the problem and said she’d get back to us the next day. She never did and we still don’t have access to the account. 5) Checks are held for a week or more when depositing. This even occurred with checks that are clearly good, such as from the IRS, etc. That said, the employees are always courteous and helpful, just maybe overworked due to not having enough employees during high traffic times.

  Very nice staff! I love my bank. The only thing that bothered me was that if you deposit a check, you have to wait 7 days to recieve funds from it. You can only deposit the check. That didn't set well with me for I needed my funds now. I had to cash it at another bank. Does that make sense? I couldn't cash a check that was typed out to me at my own bank! I can trust the bank to deposit the check but my bank couldn't trust me to cash it. I know that's with the bank's policy, not the fault of the employees. Bless thier hearts, they just work there! Lol!

  I was added a charge for not having insurance on my car. I was not aware of this due to me being on insurance with my parents. I was not notified so when I called and asked. I was informed that the bank did reach out...by mail. No call, no email, but by mail. I then had a due date to get insurance and let them know. Once I was able to do that, they only could remove half of the charge. Reminder: When I came in to get the loan, I was no informed of what could/would happen if the vehicle isn’t insured for a moment in time. The Charge will then prohibit yoj from using skip a pay, even during the pandemic. They were of no assistance. But they will call, email me twice and even have the teller to inform me that my car note is due, even if i go a day over. But I couldn’t get a call or even a realistic notice when I was charged that $3,000 fee.
