  I refinanced my vehicle with fcu and I must say the process was super quick and easy. The next day that I submitted my application, they contacted me and helped me through the process. They were able to bring down my apr and lower my monthly payments. The credit member Justin helped me open my account and was very nice and answered all my questions. I definitely recommend banking with them!!

  Worst bank/ credit union i have ever had! Can buy anything from walmart without calling them or else your purchase will be denied. I thought my bills were paid until i started getting last payments because for some reason the account and routing numbers are wrong and will not work and no one thiught it would be a good idea to tell me about this before hand. This is for all accounts im at work right and had to call them because my wife is trying to order groceries this is ridiculous. Will be closing my account here.

  After years of banking with larger retail, regional banks and even other credit unions, I was finally able to find a bank to call my “home”. I tried Wells Fargo, USAA, Capital One, and Frost Bank before finally landing here. I was attracted to their auto refinancing originally but ended up doing much more with them. The manager (Jazmin) and personal bankers such as Ivonne made me feel welcome from the start. They are extremely responsive to inquiries and helpful when it is needed the most. I’ve opened personal accounts, business accounts, taken out loans, and got credit cards through them. Their interest rates are a little high, and service with personal bankers can be a little slow occasionally, but it’s well worth it for the service level (the reason you have a long wait is because they give utmost attention to all clients so it takes a little longer than normal). A con I’d add is that they don’t have a good solution for sending money such as Zelle and are technologically behind the rest. But, if you are looking for solid customer service, open and responsible lending, and a place that embodies a sense of community, this is it. I’m happy I found these guys. I see a bad review regarding customer service but would ask you to ask yourself if maybe you get back from the world what you put out into it. We all have moments when we are too demanding and have unrealistic expectations, me included. Everytime I’ve approached them kindly, I’ve been met with even more kindness in return. The people who work here are great. I highly recommend this bank.

  I've had many bank accounts but I must say this Shell Federal in spring Texas is the best. I can cash my checks without waiting 48 hours like other banks . & a Great friendly staff is the icing on the cake 🍰

  I’ve used quite a few different banks over the years and by far Shell FCU is one of the best I’ve ever used. Everyone from my father down to my cousins and aunt use them and sing their praises as well as I. Haven’t ever had a issue so to speak and if I have a question about something usually they’re pretty good about answering the phones. Favorite bank by far here in Houston and would highly recommend this bank to anyone.

  I have never had a better bank or credit union. ALL of the people, at this branch especially, are just simply GOOD PEOPLE. They ALWAYS follow through and leave our family feeling secure with our finances. I would give more stars if possible to this incredibly great group!

  Definitely wouldn’t recommend this credit union. I would call everyday for two weeks asking for the status of a loan. After multiple attempts I finally had enough and requested to speak with a supervisor/manager. Apparently I have to get the vehicle loan in order to be approved for a credit card. Unbelievable.

  Feedback for Shell Federal Credit Union. (Spring, TX branch) Shell FCU customer service/ Services provided is why I rated so low. I had called them last week and spoke to a representative that told me I had to come into the branch and get my mortgage letter showing that the credit card was paid down. When we came into the branch, everyone that came after us were called and we were asked to wait. I am assuming that the request we made was not a "usual" request and therefore needed someone higher in the hierarchy to deal with. So we waited. Once in, I was able to get the representative to pull up who I spoke with that told me I could come in and get my letter. He proceeded to let me know they don't provide that service (mortgage letters to give to loan originators or mortgage companies, etc.) I have called all my other Banks and Credit Card companies and they have been able to provide a letter either by securely emailing it to me or faxing it straight to my loan originator with no issue. It seems to be a common service provided. I encourage Shell FCU to look into the customer service provided and also their services and see if there are others that they can add or improve on.

  For the most part I haven’t had any issues with this bank and I have been with them for about eight years maybe? The last two times I needed them for something other than just withdrawals and deposits, it has been subpar. Like I said I’ve been with them for a long time with no issues with my account, and I really needed them to help me with the notary for a birth certificate issue I was having. They could have helped me but they kept standing behind a policy that honestly when I got help somewhere else found out it was just them being stubborn. They had all of my information and old identification everything that they could’ve needed to help me in this dire situation and they wouldn’t. Then I went in there the other day to talk about possibly opening a credit card line to further assist my improving credit score. The gentleman who saw me could barely give me two minutes of his time, even though I waited for nearly 30 minutes to talk to him, he stayed on his computer typing to another person rather than giving me his full attention. I walked out of that bank disappointed and let down that on top of keeping me waiting for 30 minutes (which I had no problem with), he couldn’t even give me a full 10 minutes of his attention. He kept apologizing for his distracted behavior, but then continue to do it. It was obvious he didn’t want to waste his time with me, or help me, and come to find out he also gave me wrong information. Again let down. If you’re looking for simple deposit/withdrawal it’s a great place to go, if you need anything more than that it’s not worth it. Got my CC somewhere else.

  This company is hands down, without a doubt, the absolute WORST banking experience in my life. From setting up the account, online banking, deposits, and having access to my own money, have had nothing but trouble EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. And hell forbid you try calling them for help. Have not waited less than 6 minutes before any body answers the line. Not a busy location by any means, but must be allergic to the phones. I would highly recommend smashing ur car into a tree before using this company
