  In 2004, I had the pleasant experience of financing my new vehicle through Security Service in San Antonio. When choosing to refinance my next vehicle in November, 2021, the Spring Branch, TX branch was much more convenient for me. Therefore, I worked with Crystal Campbell at this location to accomplish my new arrangement. Crystal was much more than my former "pleasant" interaction: She was outstandingly professional , personable, and accomplished the task at hand in less than 24 hours. As an experienced, retired executive director/administrator who has hired, developed countless staff, I note that she exhibits an especially confident and capable demeanor. She's a keeeper, folks!

  My mom recently moved to bulverde Texas and this location is closes to her home..we went in today for some trouble with online setup and we received great customer service from Mariana Crawford and a lady that helped with printing out my mom's statement( sorry I didn't get a name)..both ladies were super patient with us and very helpful and kind.

  Wanted to give a HUGE shout out to Crystal C. at SSFCU in Bulverde! She has always been our go-to since this branch opened. She has opened our business and personal accounts, and just recently helped get our girls their savings accounts. If you want outstanding service then go in and talk to Crystal!!

  Excellent customer service! I’ve been banking here for the last 4 years. This by far is the beat branch I have banked with, Julissa Ramos is always available to answer any questions that I might have regarding my account!!! I highly recommend this location / branch!

  I had an awesome experience with Lisa Measom. I was looking for options to buy a vehicle and she has been super friendly and helpful. I never realized how many options they can provide, and thats what makes this bank amazing is that they are willing to work with you.

  I highly recommend this credit union! The employees are all friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I have had the pleasure of being assisted by the Assistant Manager Karen Bridge on multiple occasions at Spring Branch and Evans Road locations. She is always very caring, understanding, and helpful no matter how big or little my situation is. Because of the service I have received from Karen and other employees, I recommend SSFCU to all of my friends and family.

  My issue with SSFCU is with their auto-loan department and their complete unwillingness to respect my time and their word. I purchased a car through them three years ago; it was recently totaled in a hit-and-run accident, which is the exact nightmare that you think it is. I had enjoyed doing business with them, so when it came time to purchase a different vehicle, I applied through them and secured a 'tentative auto-loan.' Though my insurance company had already mailed them a check which they cashed and applied to my loan, I guess the departments don't communicate with each other because I had to re-submit a lot of documentation that they already had. Fine. I did it; and based on what they said in an email, I was ready to find a different vehicle -- we were all squared and ready to go! I spent hours at a dealership negotiating and choosing a vehicle within the price range that I was approved for and finally found one. I was so excited to finally put this whole nightmare situation behind me, which at that point, had taken over a month to settle. The paperwork for the vehicle I chose was being made up; I turned down opportunities for "better financing," believing that I was already working with a trusted bank and partner and they let me know, while I was standing in the dealership, keys in my hand, that I was missing required documentation that I did not have. When I pressed them for answers as to why they didn't ask for the documentation earlier when I was already re-submitting documentation, they acted as though it was my fault for not knowing that I was missing something, like I misunderstood the clear as day words they emailed me. (Btw, the emails have been deleted from their server -- crazy. When I asked them about the deletion, they sent me a new email with new information; so shady...). Furthermore, they assured me I would get a phone call about the situation "on Monday" -- it's been two weeks and I haven't heard a peep from them. I will never do business with them again. And I sincerely don't recommend them. At best, they wasted my time and energy; at worst, they lied to me and are actively working to cover it up. In any case, I secured financing from a different institution with a better interest rate that very day -- check out TD Auto Loan instead, folks.
