  I got a loan due to a hardship, I did not read the fine print and did not notice the OUTRAGOUS interest rate. I did not take my friends advice and look around to see the best option. If you are ONE day late they will call you up to 4 times a day. I asked them about the 10 day grace period that is in the contract, in writing and they said they do not honor it so if you are ONE day late they add on the late fee. And they want you to refinance and call you endless times even if you say NO. The staff is very unprofessional. Shop around before you end up in a loan that seems like you can never get out of.

  I took out a loan a couple years back. They harrassed me so much that I felt like smashing my phone into a million pieces. If you're late paying by just a day, expect at least 3 phone calls. My loan has been paid off for years and I continue to get letters in the mail asking me to give them feedback and to take out another loan. But never again will I take even a single cent from Maverick Finance. They are so annoying and difficult to work with. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Update: They literally just called me 5 months after I left this review just to ask me if i wanted to take a loan out....like, come on.

  Just like every other predatory lender, this place will run you down to the point you want to move away and never show your face again. I lost my full time job unexpextedly after four years, and have been struggling to make payments due to only barely getting work again. These guys will call you twice or more a day for being even a day late, and if you don’t pick up they will call your friends, family members, workplace, and harass anyone they possibly can. It’s a joke. I thought it was better than payday loans, but they’re just as bad. Loan sharks like these guys need to be illegal. They take advantage of people in a desperate situation and drive them into the dirt when they can’t pay on time. 🖕🏻
