      Worst customer service. I was depositing cash and the reader wouldn’t accept it for some reason so the teller was very helpful and told me to ask them to switch out the bills. The women asked if I got the money from SECU as if that mattered…. Then proceeds to say she can’t help me. The teller said he didn’t understand and she yells across the room and states we don’t have cash …. Why am I keeping my money with a bank that can’t help me if I go there ?? This makes absolutely no sense and the customer service was HORRIBLE

      I’ve had a mortgage with SECU since June 2016 and haven’t received a single bill by mail, or email despite 5 or 6 different requests — still, i’m always early. I applied for a 10 year arm and two days before my settlement, i was given my paperwork, which reflected a 30 year fixed... how? Never got a straight answer. Instead of the small amount of money down required for the program I selected, I had to come out of pocket about 10k, over night, and do the 30 year loan so that i didn’t lose the house I was trying to buy. I fully blame the loan officer. I could go on and on with the issues I’ve had with this financial institution — i recommend not using this company for a mortgage. Silver lining: The tellers are pretty friendly.

      Last minute needed a certified check and a new debit card. Got to the Pasadena location and Breanna (I think that's how it was spelled) met me at the door and asked if I had an appointment. I said no sure don't. She said hold on for a second. Came back out and said "I can get this done for you come with me". She handled everything I needed asap. This is why I bank with SECU. Thank you very much.

      This is the worst place I have ever bank with in my entire life. Every time I come in to get something done, it’s either a extreme wait of 30mins or more or/and their systems are down. The atm ripped my checks twice. They’re always down in mornings, the time most business ppl would need to make to retrieve a deposit. The tellers are worst than the machines which is really scary. Their atm did not give me back my card, so I came in for a new one. I have been here way over 25mins, I’ve banked with Banknof America and Wells Fargo and never waited over 15 mins for any transaction. The last time I had the flu and needed to make a deposit and the machine was down, so I had to run in and actually make the transaction with the lady up front. The branch on Ordance Rd is just as bad as far as down atms. Closing my account as soon as possible!! On top of that after waiting 35 mins now. He printed out the wrong debit card to the wrong account. I can not win at this place!!!!! Closing today!!

      ATMs and teller machines are always broken. Doesn’t matter which location you go to. If you’re reading reviews deciding whether or not to open an account save a couple headaches by not.

      I have a couple car loans through them because they offered me awesome rates. I don’t bank there but went in a couple times to set up autopay on the loans. They were very polite and helpful both times. Anthony Davis, whose name is easy to remember, helped me the second time and struck me as a true professional. No complaints so far.

      This is the Best Bank i have ever banked with, everyone is always so nice and always greet you! I know sometimes you may have to wait for a.few mins or even 20 mins to see someone but its ok I understand sometimes it may take longer than expected! I HAVE NEVER EVER HAD ANY BAD EXPERIENCE @ MY SECU ON JUMPERS HOLE RD !

      Read the rest of the reviews. Worst employees. Horrible machines. My last encounter / final experience there was seven customers verbally angry with all of the staff working due to pure laziness.

      I have been a member since 1993 and I have some good and bad experiences. The only thing I can complain about is when I had bank fraud. Closing one account and opening another. But when it came right down to it the manager called my creditors to explain the situation to them. Saved me from a lot of late fees. I’m still a member and would recommend them to anyone.

      DO NOT BANK WITH SECU. I transferred a loan here to get a lower interest rate. They FAILED TO SEND MY PAYOFF LETTER. So I had TWO loans, thousands and thousands of dollars, and TWO payments each month. After spending hours on the phone with both banks, SECU finally admitted the letter was "lost". Meanwhile, I'm paying 2 separate loans. There's a whole mess with reimbursement checks, which has now cost me money in bounced check fees. SECU won't help at all. They botched the entire process, costing me time and money and years of my life, and have done LITERALLY NOTHING TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT.
