Great friendly and personable service, *BUT* --Extortionate fees: $10.00 US per TRANSACTION!! --Only bills: they do not accept any coins of any kind(Most of Europe frequentlu uses uses large-value coins). --Astoundingly poor exchange rates: BAD, BAD, BAD deal for you, for ANY amount. Go elsewhere, or save your foreign currency for your next trip.

Lazy attendant took an hour luch break on a saturday during the times when ALL the international departures were departing. Hid behind the glass with an "out to lunch sign, be back in 30 minutes". This was Terminal 3 concourse K between the 5pm and 6pm. Unacceptable! People missed flights because this attendant couldnt handle serving the 2 customers per hour they received. Absolutely horrible.

One of the bills I exchanged was a false 200 Mexican Pesos bill which I tried to pay with at a museum in Mexico and I was told that it was false. I was charged $10 exchange fee too. After I came back to the US, I tried reaching the location by phone many times; was promised a call back and also emailed the manager (got the email address from OHare FB page). Never did I receive any courtesy communication. I was politely asking them to ensure that they monitor all their bills and requesting to address the situation to me because it is something that could have landed their customers to trouble with law enforcement abroad. I got a hold of some supervisor and they did not admit their mistake at all. Lesson learned- Do not exchange $$ at the airport, exchange at a bank or the location at the destination country, and do not use Seaway ever. They charge too much just for exchange fee too and do not care about their customer's grievance.

On September 16th 2019 late evening, my girlfriend exchanged $1450 for pounds and euros for our Europe trip. The customer service assistant only provided us 375£ out of 500 American dollars and 710€ out of $950. Unfortunately our flight (O’hare) was boarding we did not have the time to check the currency rate. Seaway bank is a scam; no wonder the bank was in the process of going out of business. I wish y’all did go out of business and I hope the lady that scams us have a stroke. If I could give y’all a -20 stars I would; she’s either pocketing money or she needs to retire.

This place has a reasonable exchange percentage BUT....they do not stay with the market. The American dollar to the Czech Koruna is about 1:21. We tried to exchange $200. They charged 10 leaving us with 190 to exchange. They offered us 3600 Czech Koron. It should have been around 4000 Koruna by the market. In essence with 200 dollars 10 went to them and by them not keeping current with the market exchange rate they were about to squander $19. Like lighting a twenty dollar bill on fire in front of you. So they would have 200 in a stronger currency and us now with 170 American dollars worth of Czech Currency. We thought we could do better somewhere else so we left.

If I could give zero stars I would. I was using your ATM in Terminal 1 at Ohare. I had a cup of coffee in my hand. I asked to set it down on your currency exchange kiosk the woman said No rudely. What a sorry excuse for a customer agent. I have been a flight attendant for over 40 yrs if I ever treated any one like that I would be fired. She was nasty to the people who were changing money. If this is a representative of your bank I will never use your ATM again.

Dont use this Exchange . They RIPE you off. The Philippine Pesos rate was 52.15 for 1 us dollar. They gave me 43.35 for 1 Us dollar when I went back to ask why. They said that is there rate and would not not let me exchange back.

I had nearly 600 CNY to exchange from my recent trip to China. The employee manning the counter barely acknowledged me and did not look up when I told her that wanted to exchange CNY for USD. She must have only seen the coins I had in my hand and not the wad bills in my hand. Without looking up she said, coldly, “I don’t exchange for anything less than 10.” “10 what,” I asked dryly but she was already staring at her cell phone again. Must be nice to get paid to play on your phone. I’ll find somewhere else to exchange my moneys from now on.

This place is a complete scam. The rate for USD to Euros on 6/8/2019 was 1 USD TO 0.88 EUR. They offered only .75 and charged a $15 fee. I tried to exchange it back after my wife was duped into this scam using their Currency Return Guarantee and they refused. They should be shut down and locked up. Avoid this scam!

Seaway foreign exchange at terminal 5 O’Hare. There was a sign that stated “washroom break. Be back in 10 minute”. We waited for at least 40 minutes and no one returned from the bathroom break. They must have had real issues. Quite disappointing actually.
