  I was in need of assistance deciding what to do about an out of state property and trying to determine if a refinance would benefit us? I was not sure where to start. Shelley helped sort everything out! It was valuable advice and research she provided. She is very honest and ethical, I would 100% recommend using Shelley and Scott for real estate or lending needs. Even though there was no way for Shelley to be paid for her services, she spent a lot, and I mean a lot of time helping us sort out our best options regarding selling property we own in Pennsylvania. She also looked at my current first mortgage to see if it made sense to refinance. She said, that I have a better rate than I could obtain in the current market. No smoke and mirrors or hidden agenda. She could have made money selling me a new mortgage, but instead gave me an honest appraisal of our situation.   THE BEST DECISION WE EVER MADE! When we made the difficult decision to move from a house and location we loved because of our advancing ages, we were faced with another difficult decision – who to select to represent us and sell our home. Fortunately, we had met Shelley and Scott Weier and were impressed with their credentials (Ranked TOP 1% out of 800,000 Agents Nationwide, by Zillow) and their approach to representation. We had moved any number of times with my husband’s career in the Marine Corps and had certainly seen “the good, the bad and the ugly.” Shelley and Scott started the conversation with the information that our house would NOT have a “For Sale” sign (eliminating the “lookey loos” and drop by “buyers”) and that only qualified buyers would be allowed to view the house. As the person who had to have the house ready for viewing, I was thrilled. Next, after discussing the age and condition of appliances, improvements we had made and general questions about the neighborhood, they then made their suggestions as to pricing, staging and minor maintenance suggestions. At all times, they made it very clear that we were the client and they would work with whatever decisions we made. This was such a relief from the usual high-pressure agents with whom we had dealt before. Even more amazing was when Shelley showed up, paint brush in hand to help me freshen up the baseboards and Scott arrived to help us move excess furniture to the garage for a better look for showing. I have NEVER met or heard of any realtors with this degree of involvement. After securing their representation, everything was unbelievably smooth. If you think that means the first person who viewed the house made an offer and bought the house, you would be wrong. Our first offer was a contingent sale, so Shelley and Scott continued to show the house. Then we had a full price cash offer and had progressed to the home inspection when they backed out. Shelley and Scott spent most of one evening and early the next morning working to invite the contingent buyer to make another offer and this was all before we even knew that the buyers had backed out! But, since it was still a contingent sale, Shelley and Scott continued showing the property. Another cash offer came in, and ultimately that is the one we accepted and sold our home to. I have never met realtors who worked so hard, were so pleasant, so knowledgeable and so much fun. If you want the best representation for the sale of your home the best choice is to hire Shelley and Scott!!

  Scott and Shelley helped us buy a beach house in Oceanside. Due to their extensive background in real estate and lending they caught a few details regarding our 1031 exchange that would’ve been very costly, if not caught in time. They can see potential problems well before they happen. The most impressive thing we experienced happened well after we closed escrow. Our air conditioner died, and the home warranty denied the claim to fix or replace it. Scott and Shelley sprang into action. They spent hours on the phone talking to everyone including the vice president of this giant insurance company. Needless to say… they got the claim covered. Because they had personally attended the home inspection they knew the air conditioner was working prior to close of escrow. We now have a brand new air conditioner! We doubt that many other agents would have had the knowledge or fortitude to successfully battle with the insurance company. We whole heartily recommend them!

  A friend introduced me to Shelley and Scott Weir. All's good with that, but ones personal experience is the tell tale. I had a partnership with these two professionals that has not been surpassed. They stepped into my life, guided me through the selling process with confidence backed by years of real estate experience. Their integrity and propensity for detail from the marketing process, vetting buyers and lenders, educating other real estate professionals when necessary, to the closing process, was in a word "remarkable". I was never left in the dark wondering "what's happening, now". They are communicative, detail oriented and know the law. Buying and selling real estate can be fraught with emotions, and at the end of the day can be an anxiety inducing experience. Shelley and Scott are professional "problem solvers".   We never imagined we would be able to move into our dream home so soon! Scott and Shelley are fantastic at what they do. We initially met Scott and Shelley through other means, when we were casually thinking about moving. They volunteered to take a look at our finances and give an idea of what we could afford with different loan options, just so we knew where we stood if we did decide to start looking with no pressure at all. With their background in financing and underwriting, they were able to determine an estimate for this without pulling credit reports. With this information we were able to casually start browsing properties. We decided to look at a couple of properties, which Scott and Shelley were very flexible and and responsive to our requests for showings. The first few houses weren't quite right for us, but Scott and Shelley were able to identify from what we liked and disliked about the showings we had seen, and recommend the perfect home in the perfect location for us. Once we decided this was the home we wanted, they helped us very quickly get our house on the market (we had not been prepared to sell at all at this point), and make an appropriate offer to get accepted on our new home before the multiple offers that came afterwards arrived. Within just a few weeks our home sold and we are now in our new place and loving it!!! There is no way we would have found or been able to get through this process with any other realtors/brokers in such as pain free and timely manner. They were incredible from start to finish including: - Negotiating prices that were great on our house sale and purchase. - Helping to stage our home to sell quickly and for the price we expected - Guiding us through Escrow set up and making sure we were always prepared to close on time. - And helping us understand all the complicated finances and fees associated with buying and selling homes. They spent plenty of their own time before and after the sales to make sure I understood everything I was signing and that was required. I cannot talk highly enough and will recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a home!!! tl;dr: - Friendly and trustworthy Realtors/Brokers, great people too - Made selling and purchasing a home, fast, fun, and easy - Put in time and effort to make sure we understood everything to do with the sales - Helped us find and get into our dream beach home!!!
