  I have been a member of SDCCU for 10+ years. Their quality of service has gone WAY down. Some company’s have taken zero time bouncing back from the pandemic, but this seems to be their new standard. If you like long phone wait times and rude bankers/tellers, this is the correct financial institution for you. I will be moving my account elsewhere.

  I've banked with them for 5 years and before that with plenty of other banks!! Never had an issue with SDCCU and everybody is always sooo nice, respectful and they know what their doing!! I feel excited building my credit with them and refinancing my car loan too!! No complaints about the wonderful app!! Keep it up!!

  Been banking with SDCCU for over a decade.. and wow have they gone downhill since covid hit. Not only employee turnover.. They lost a lot of customers recently over their mask enforcement tactics and now they lost me over discrimination against my vision. The same prescription sunglasses I've worn in there for 10 years, I was told not only by security twice to remove them, but then the teller and finally a manager backed down when I said I didn't have a problem removing them for identification but I have to wear them because I literally can't see without them. Absolutely absurd. SDCCU has people wearing glasses.. telling a customer not to wear his glasses.

  Used to really like this bank but it has really gone down hill. Closed my account without notice for a negative balance due to them not declining my card. Or even notifying me of the situation. Zero stars.

  Opened my account over 10 years ago in Chula Vista, CA. (Very nice people). I went to San Marcos branch to get information regarding refinancing my home. They seem to have younger inexperience financial advisers. I was attended by one representative by the name of Alicia. She showed no willingness to help me whatsoever. I was the one asking all the questions. They need to be more trained and educated on customer service!. I'm closing my account A.S.A.P. I will just stay with Mission Fed.

  Brandon Sanchez made my car buying process super easy and he was very helpful. Walked me through the whole process and gave me the best deal possible and the lowest interest rate. On top of that helped me out with lowering my APR on my credit card. Appreciated his help. Go to him and he'll help you out:)

  I have been a member of SDCCU for about 35 years and have never been put out like I was yesterday. I attempted to deposit my son's paycheck into his account which I am attached to. But I didn't have my account number. The teller attempted unsuccessfully, she called her manager Nehala Latif. She came over and said you need your account number we can't look it up.I asked why every other branch I go to I never have a problem.(Encinitas,carlsbad and they always process the transaction? She just responded we can't do it without your account number. I guess someone needs more training. Either way I'll probably avoid this branch going forward. Escondido)

  I’ve been banking with SDCCU since I was 12 years old and I’m still with them because I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with the bank as a whole. I’ve been going to the San Marcos branch for the past 7 years and I love it. The lines are usually very short and the representatives are friendly and helpful.

  I sprain my ankle this morning and have a bracelet on, I had to get some money and transfer here there. Hopping along the counter, a representative named Jose, he helped me take care of the transactions, his professionalism and ability to listen and ask the right questions made my visit a great experience. Thanks Jose! Excellent way to start the New Year! 🎰

  The tall white lady manager was Soo nice. Especially with my disability. She had the line going fast I had like four ppl helping me. I was scared at first to wait outside in line but wow. It moved fast . Thank you manager lady great job and great service. I will be banking here from now on.
