Elie ForteDonna5Santander is a second chance company, so what does this mean that they give opportunities to those who already neglected previous auto loans. I don't agree with any of the negative comments because most people who are upset with this company didn't bother to educated themselves. A second chance loan because you are consider a high risk due to a low credit score or repo, they do have high interest rate. They have to win somehow. A lot of the clients if they have already had a negtive habit of paying late which is how they got the second chance from this company. They have a tendency to still pay late. This mean that the loan as stated in the contract that most people don't read. That if you pay late then you pay more for this loan. Customer services or a collections agent will advise you that this is a disadvantage to you when you pay late being that this is a loan that is with typically high interest. Santander does gain a profit with high interest rates indeed and they make more when you pay late, however it is up to you to read your contract or deny the loan when offer if you find the interest rate to be high. You must educate yourself before you get upset with this company. They are very clear and even call there customers when late to educate and remind them to keep current. With this type of loan which is a simple interest loan you should pay ahead of time so you will pay less interest but the longer it take you the longer you will prolong paying your car note off.

Multi Cheiz1They have very bad customer service. Also they reported bad remark on my credit report even after paying off the car and calling them during covid when I was affected. They don't care about their customers and will treat people like they are less human. It was a big disappointment seeing them report late payments in my account despite reaching out to them during covid 19 .and letting them know about my condition. I still went ahead to pay them on time .

Mariana Rodriguez1Fell unemployed and asked a million times for assistance. They advised they were not able to help at all. Repo’d my vehicle then stated if amount owed they would reinstate my loan. Turns out they lie. They won’t reinstate anything or provide any type of assistance. The only option was to payoff the entire loan vs paying two months owed and tow fee. RUN from this company. What will happen now is force the sell of the vehicle through auction for HALF the price and ruin your credit instead of helping anyone with a hardship. Again NEVER chose this company as your finance company.

Leslie Pacheco1My husband had accidentally sent in our Car Insurance check to this address to the P.O. Box because the bank needs to sign the check so the process to fixing our car can begin because my car is financed through them. Well we called Santander because we never got notified from them letting us know they received the check and they informed us it was the wrong P.O. Box it was supposed to be a different one but this one is still associated with Santander… Even tho it was the wrong P.O. Box they could have easily mailed it right back to us or to GEICO. We also contacted GEICO informing about the issue but they informed us that it has been CASHED out! There’s no direct number to contact them here! Santander customer service is giving us the run a round! WHO CASHED THAT CHECK?!? I JUST WANT MY CAR FIXED!!!

Austyn Butler1This company is the worst bank you could possibly have, I was assured by multiple customer service reps my checks received from insurance would be processed in 10 days and I would not get a late payment. Complete lies it was not processed in that amount of time at all I received a 30 day late payment. They refused to do anything about it even tho “all calls are recorded”. Now it has been over 60 days, the total amount of my checks equaled 1,000 over what I owed on my car and guess what?! They still haven’t sent me the 1,000 left over, instead one of their people said they only received one check, which is weird bc I sent them in the same envelope. Which is weird bc my insurance agent said he will back me up, also weird bc I have the check stubs like my insurance agent said to keep because of how Santander is. No check can’t get ahold of anybody that can tell me any answers. You don’t steal 1,000 from someone who never missed a payment until the end. When your incompetent customer service reps assured me I wouldn’t and then I did. NEVER USE THIS BANK. USE CHRYSLER CAPITAL, credit acceptance if you need a low credit bank like this or USE FLAGSHIP, I will do everything in my power to steer people away from Santander. I Work in the car business so theirs that.

Mark Tuggle1This is the worst bank you can go through I call for a pay off it was $44,000 sent 3,000 then 27,000 then 14,000 now there trying to say I owe a another 836 to pay my car off I talk to several different people during this time and that 836 was not there until I sent the last payment of 14,000 the all the sudden there it is and no one is willing to try and fix it I will never use this bank again they need to be shut down

Ari Parker1The customer service is horrible, I stopped doing business with them years ago because it was that bad! Each rep gives a different answer, nothing is streamlined. There’s always an excuse as to why they can’t do something. They owe me a refund and asked me to call weekly to see if it’s been issued instead of reaching out to notify me when it’s been issued.

Rainbow791Do you know what’s funny is that a car dealership was trying to get me a loan through you guys and you guys denyed me because I had left my job for four months or three months! So what!..I went back to my old job but the key thing was I was still employed I’m glad you guys showed me how petty you really are and it would’ve probably been a headache dealing with your company anyway I dodged a bullet And it would have been a headache messing with this company!
