  This location is nice and clean. It has fast service in the interior and drive-thru. I really like going to this location whenever I am in Rio Rancho. They also have a nice lounge area if you have to wait.

  I went to this branch, on a Monday, to close out my deceased husband's accounts of whom I am joint owner. Tissa and her co-worker waited on me, the whole while whispering as if I could not hear them. Told me I did not have access to the IRA account; good thing I had proof. After taking my documentation and death certificate, they proceeded to tell me the account was "locked" and it was above their pay grade to "unlock" the account, and I was told to come back on Friday. I had to go to the branch on Cottonwood the next day to get this finalized with someone who knew what they were doing. The death certificate was never put into the system, and Miguel was awesome at helping me get my funds from the IRA. The Wellspring branch is staffed with obviously inexperienced staff who cannot be honest with their customers and admit to the inability to service them. Tissa called me Tuesday and was extremely rude on the phone. Very unprofessional.

  Best Credit union in town. You will not regret your visit. This credit union is already rated the best in service and rates in Albuquerque BUT this particular branch is even more so. They just recently opened this branch and so they are not very busy. They spent slot of time with me and catered to every question and request I had regarding loans with honesty and respect! I went in there as a first time buyer for a car (loan) about a month ago and with the rates and service of the employees there, it SERIOUSLY CAN'T GET ANY BETTER. I'm very happy with my decision Ask for Tess when u get there for anything you need

  Spoke to Samawi on the phone in regards to fraudulent charges on my account. She was rude, laughed at me on the phone and had terrible listening skills. I had to repeat myself several times to answer the same questions. I was shocked as usually service from SLFCU agents has always been nice. Don’t waste your time at this branch

  Excellent customer service! !!   I have a car loan with this Bank. Every time I make a payment, I have to drive to the bank. I'm not allowed to mail my payments in. And when I get to the bank it takes me 15 to 20 minutes for them to check my account to make sure I'm the right person and then I'm allowed to make a payment on my own account. This is by far the worst bank ever

SLFCU allows payments for auto loans to be made in a variety of ways to help make the process more convenient for our members. These include mailing a check, visiting any SLFCU branch, calling our Contact Center, or dropping off a check in our night drop boxes located at every branch. If you’d like to mail in your payment for your auto loan, you can stop by any SLFCU branch to receive loan payment coupons that will need to accompany your payment every time it’s mailed, as well as business reply envelopes so you do not have to pay for postage.   I am a Desert Storm Veteran and for years I only banked at USAA. But USAA had no branches except for in Austin, TX. I was about to purchase my first home and I needed a Bank where I could go in and speak to professionals about mortgages, car loan, and other financial issues. SLFCU has been awesome, and the Branch on Wellspring is not as busy as other branches. I am very happy with all the services that they offer!

  Worst SLFCU in the ABQ/Rio Rancho area. I have been with this union for 15 years and they decided to quit cashing third party checks. The checks were endorsed to me, from my husband, for his work. I deposited one or two each month, other locations did this no problem for months. Never had ANY KIND of fraudulent activity ever. And they can't give me a reason why they wouldn't do this for me anymore. Had to argue with manager just to get him to cash the current check since I was never told this before and needed to pay bills that day. On separate occasions I had been waiting in the drive up for 35-40 min just to cash a check in my name!

  Kelly, we’re sorry you had trouble cashing a check. SLFCU has procedures in place to protect all parties involved – the member, the check payee, and the credit union. To avoid this kind of issue, you might consider opening a joint account with your husband, or your husband may wish to join the credit union; in either of these situations, checks made out to him could be deposited directly into an account held in his name. He could apply for membership online at www.slfcu.org using the Open an Account button on our homepage. We also offer mobile deposit through our app; many members find this to be the most convenient way to deposit checks.

  I have been with this bank for about a little over 10 years and I just love it and I my wife has her own account and my sister-in-law has her accounts that's how much I love its whenever I do have someone that talks about a bank I always tell them to go to Sandia labs
