  Just recently completed our first mortgage with Sage Capital bank. Kristen Holcombe was excellent through the whole process. She was prompt with answering emails and was easy to reach with a phone call. The difficult part was that we were completing the mortgage process from overseas. Kristen made it go seamless as if we were there in Texas. We were happy to go with a local bank and will continue to do business with Sage Capital Bank.

I like the idea of working with a local institution that has knowledge of our local economy.I have developed a relationship of trust with Sage Capital Bank over the years. So when I was looking for permanent financing for my newly built custom home I contacted Josh Avant-President of the Lockhart Banking Center whom I have worked with many times in the past.   During this COVID-19 we are all hurting. Small buinesses are not fairing very well. Reading through the releifs we came across PPP. I called Sage Capital Bank and they were on it. Getting me the information as they got it and helping me to get it done. I recommend Sage Capital for anyone needing a bank, they go above and beyond!

  We thought on round 1 a large SBA direct lender would be the best answer, the 2nd round with went with our local bank Sage Capital and was funded the next day funding became available, bigger in banking is not alows better.
