      Been with SAFE for 25 years. Great service, have products that meet my personal and business needs. It WAS just easy doing business with them. Noticed a decline in services over the past few years. Took 3 months to do a simple refi on a property. Staff that handled it were unknowledgeable about the process leading to many frustrations and delays. I would never do another mortgage loan with them or refer them out to any of my clients. They dropped the ball one too many times. Bank is always busy. Plan to wait 10 min in line. If you want to see a banker, I'd recommend making an appt. Want to call in instead? Your wait time will be at least 20 min. Which is not acceptable. The ATMs are dinosaurs and need to be replaced. They are slow and always have issues with reading check deposits. What's supposed to make my life easier turns into another ordeal and usually a second trip to the bank because they don't open until 10am now. I'm so tired of hearing "...it's because of COVID and staffing issues."

      Check and cancel your accounts. SCU has made the incredibly stupid decision to merge accounts it means ex's and family members may now have access to your account information. Hopefully they get sued soon.

      This location is great, usually you don't have to wait to long to speak with a teller. Plus the tellers there are really nice and helpful. One thing I don't like is the hours, I wish they'd open at 9am instead of 10am.

      Online banking down for 4 days and then.. still not on. It’s 2022, that’s not acceptable anymore.

      Not a happy customer for this location! me and my husband applied for a refinance on our vehicle a month ago and they informed us we need to show proof of insurance and registration for this vehicle, so I stopped by on my lunch about two to three weeks ago and walked up to a window and asked this nice lady ( I gave her all info needed) if i need to talk to her or sit down at a desk and give them copies of the paperwork needed, she informed me I can do this with her. I handed her my insurance AND registration and she made copies with her manager standing next to her. She said they have all info needed and will get it going for us. Long story short we got a FINAL NOTICE in the mail saying they did not get any paperwork from us....so not happy with the manager at this location. West sac or elk grove location is the best way to go. Will NEVER come back to this location ever!

      If you’re looking for a place to get a loan processed in the lowest possible way ever, and be misled about how long it will take, look no further than Safe Credit Union. Absolutely ridiculous. Told me to bring in paperwork for the car I’m trying to buy and I’d be good to go. Was even asked if I just wanted to wait in the lobby while they processed the documents and took care of it. Nope that’s not actually the case. As of right now it’s been 2 days and no word from them. Unbelievable. I had to cancel my plans to go to Fairfield to buy the car and most likely will miss out on the opportunity now.

      I don't see why this location is only rated around 3 stars. It's one of the better locations. Safe C.U. needs to open earlier though.

      Had all the docs needed to open a business account, banker said we were good to go, and at the end was turned away. Chase opened up my bank account no problem

      I am amazed that your home page has no easy way to find out how to wire funds to my account. Also, when I call it sometimes takes 3 - 5 minutes on hold to get a live person on the line. Your stationery and statements should have the other side dedicated to easy ways to manage your account i.e. how to find balances, last 5 entries, and of course wiring instructions. Names of participating Federal Credit Unions nationwide.
